“Been coming here for years, this is one of my favorite locations to just grab a beer in Columbus. The atmosphere has always been chill (even when the place is full) and the staff are always friendly, helpful, and attentive.Beer and grub is solid if not standout, and they get new things on tap very regularly.I recommend the place!“

Antiques on High Brewery • $$

“Ryan Shazier loves this place. Saw him a few weeks ago with some lady (not his wife) and he said it’s a perfect spot for first dates. He was absolutely right! Took my girl there for a first date and ended the night at her place! The vibe is amazing. Shazier recommended I try the Tessera drink andMy oh my, it was paralyzingly good! Wish Shazier would show some loyalty, but it led me to find this gem. Thank you Ryan Shazier!“

Pretentious Barrel House Brewery • $$
745 Taylor Ave, Columbus

“*Dog Friendly* Kind of hard to find but what a gem! Staff was extremely friendly, they went out of their way to go over their different drinks and other places to check out. They brought out the dogs a water bowl with ice cubes. The beers were incredible, never had anything like them…. The fact that they are all barrel aged is all that needs to be said. Definitely will be back! Thanks for such a warm welcome to your city/breweryCheers“

“I wish I could give our server more stars!!! She went above and beyond. My kiddo got his head banged by a truck hood and she saved the day with some advil. The food was great. The large house salad is huge. The scratch made blue cheese is excellent, as was the tenders and fries. The vibe is loud and bustling, but the booths helped filter the noise. The location is excellent and just across the street from the convention center.Vegetarian options: Definitely veggie friendlyDietary restrictions: Lots of different optionsParking: Parking in that area can be tight and costly.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu availableWheelchair accessibility: Could be a little tight when they are packed.“

Treacherous Cranberry Apple

“We visited this place because we've had some of their ciders at Warped Wing in Dayton. Following Google Maps, the directions to this place take you through a kind of dark, industrial area where you're sure you're on your way to get murdered, lol. It's in what appears to be a storage facility. Once inside, the place is kinda nice, but in a funky way. Mismatched furniture give it a relaxed atmosphere. Bright lighting keeps it from having a bar vibe. The ciders were Ok. We got 2 flights, so were able to taste most of what they had to offer. I bought a 4 pack of the pineapple to take home, it was the best we tasted, IMO.“

Species X Beer Project Beer & Ale • $
408 N 6th St, Columbus

“I stopped by Species X on a Tuesday evening after work, mostly due to the Google ratings but also intrigued by the concept/vibe. I ended up being the only one at the brewery which was a blessing in disguise as it allowed me to have about a 2 hour chat with the owner, Bo.I went from my typical skepticism of anything branded AI to fully convinced this was a unique, fun, and ultimately successful approach to brewing beer - not to mention its clear Bo has done his homework and then some.I ended up trying 6 beers and I would honestly say all of them were above average - standouts being the maple blueberry sour and Fluff001.Whether you live in Columbus or are just in time for a short while I'd highly recommend stopping by here to see what Bo and his team are doing as it's truly incredible. While the AI models are fascinating, the decor and vibe are on point, and the staff is very friendly (we covered everything from viral marketing to PC gaming), I firmly believe any brewery is only as good as its beer - and Species X has REALLY good beer!!“

“Great spot for a beer and food. The beer was fresh and paired well with the food. The food was on point. You must try the schnitzel. It blows many other German joints out of the water. There is a dedicated parking lot, which is great for this part of town. Didn’t get a chance to sit in the Biergarten but it looked spacious. We will definitely be back!“

Endeavor Brewing and Spirits Brewery • $$

“Hubby and I stopped at Endeavor Saturday shortly after they opened. It was only a ten minute walk from our hotel! Tried many of the beers and enjoyed just about all of them. Drinks looked fabulous, but it was too early for liquor. Bartender was super friendly and engaging. I recommend visiting this place. I know we will go back !“

“It's your typical industrial chic bar, with a decent selection of local drafts, and service that meets expectations. It's a short but noticable walk from the mall, especially in the rain. There are free parking garages all around.I didn't personally care for the draft choices, but it was perfect for my situation, which was to catch up with some friends after an all day event. The hidden gem of this place is their Ramen Spiced Mac n Cheese. It was so good and packed a little heat. I'm considering going back for that alone.Vegetarian options: While there aren't a ton of options, they are clearly marked on the menu and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of my dish.Parking: There are free lots and garages all around this town center.Wheelchair accessibility: Typical wheelchair accessibility but parking is a little far.“

“Wedge salad was a bit small for the price - but delicious. The burger was delicious and cooked to the temperature I requested - not something that always happens. Desserts were amazing. The only negative feedback I have is that fries should be STANDARD - not an add-on for burgers and sandwiches, particularly given the price of the item. The burger was already $17 without fries. And the fries were greasy. I don't like to complain, so I didn't say anything to the server. However - I paid $6 for greasy potatoes.“

“Absolutely amazing experience! The food is spot on. House-made EVERYTHING! From the smoked wings, pork, ribs AND brisket all the way down to the sauces. Weekly specials and complimentary house-made cornbread keep things fresh and exciting. Tuesdays they have LIVE music and the musician, Michael Robinson, is quite possibly the songbird of our generation. In addition to great food, great drinks and live music on Tuesdays, there is a SLIGHTLY older gentleman who bartends who could be considered an appetizer…cause he be lookin’ like a snack. Highly recommend!“

Our server was not only very nice she was very knowledgeable and offered great recommendations as it was our first visit. I choose the Asian crispy chicken green salad. It was the best salad I have ever had! The portion was insanely large. Three people could easily share this salad. My husband had the fish and chips. Absolute perfect ? huge portions.I recommend everyone to try this place. They have a new customer for sure! I'll be a regular! Drinks and happy hours are available also. ☺️“

“Super solid! This branch of the brewery is nice for the expanded (and very good) menu. I had the burger and was very pleased with both it's size and quality. The French fries were also very nice- crispy and fresh. The beers are pretty solid, with a few IPAs and imperial stouts too. I was a bit bummed that they didn't have any sours or fruity beers, but that's just my preference.Overall, a solid prick!Kid-friendliness: There were babies and kids!“
