German style beers are fantastic, my personal favorites being the Goldtop and Wiener. My family and I just love coming here, and always recommend it to anyone in search of a great Columbus brewery!“

“I never heard of a “Cold IPA” before having it at the Barley. The most excellent bartend, Mark, explained it was all in the brewing process. I guess I am just much better at drinking a pint, so I proceeded to do so! My man thought the pale ale was just right for him - usually we find it necessary to sample a couple beers before we commit, but these were just too good! The menu was another story! We hemmed and hawed a bit over THAT decision! Have you looked at it?! So many amazing different choices to tantalize your palette! We finally settled on the sausage and pierogi dish. Mark reassured us it was a good one. We were not sad. We were actually pretty happy about it. It was SO delicious! A party in one’s mouth! - and since it WAS my birthday, I took home a growler of that “Cold IPA”. Mark said I could.“

“Mad Moon is a rare gem in what can be a sea of mediocre cider joints. Amazingly friendly staff, excellent ciders, and an awesome Cuban food truck out front all work in concert to make Mad Moon a hit. Do yourself a favor and stop by. You will not regret it!!“

“I brought my 93 year old grandmother here for lunch as a surprise. Her church baseball team from Scottwood used to come here every weekend after their games 40-50 years ago. It was very nostalgic for her. The food was absolutely delicious. We tried the bratwurst, philly, kraut, fries, Mac and cheese and potato salad. A rustic little gem if you ask me! I will DEFINITELY be back.

“Great food and service. Tried the delicious cauliflower appetizer and sauerkraut balls. Our party of six all were happy with their meals. The salmon dish was terrific. The chicken and salad was yummy, and the steak medallions were tender and tasty!“

“Cool atmosphere and a good selection of beer and cocktails. All of the beers were good but nothing was outstanding; however, I’d rather have good beer over bad! We did leave with a four pack of the Lemon Lavender, perfect summer beer! We will definitely be back for another visit.“
