this place is such a great vibe, i’ve been twice now and service has been awesome. cozy spaces to sit, board games to play, outdoor space. really cool lineup of events and food trucks too. love having something like this on the south side.
Excellent beers and fantastic service - Larry was amazing and we will definitely be back 😁

Based on the reviews, Honest Friend Brewing is a great addition to Steelton Village with a chill, artistic vibe and easy parking. It is a welcoming and super queer friendly space with attentive and friendly staff. The brewery has a nice vibe and feels focused on community, comfort, and coziness rather than just drinking. They offer a great selection of low ABV beers and excel at sessionable, flavor-forward beers, with standouts like the Paper Cloud Hazy and Ghost Wheel Porter. The bartenders also make some of the best Old Fashioneds in the city. An added bonus is they have Red Rabbit Ramen for food, which is the best ramen in Columbus. The atmosphere is chill and vibey, and the Southside needed this. Hanging out at Honest Friend feels safe and welcoming, with a focus on creating a dynamic hub for the community through events and art shows.
