“My husband and I recently visited Dos Hermanos (in Easton) for our weekly date night, and let me tell you, it was hands down the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long, long time. After living in Columbus for over 3 years (and searching high & low), I had come to the sad conclusion that there were no good authentic Mexican restaurants in thus city — that was, until I stepped foot into Dos Hermanos. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with hot chips and fresh, flavorful salsa that set the tone for the rest of our meal. The menu features a wide range of authentic Mexican dishes at reasonable prices. My husband and I tried the queso blanco, street tacos, Birria tacos, and churros. Each dish was flavourful, hot, and super fresh. My personal favorite were the Birria tacos — every bite was packed with the right balance of spices and tenderness. I am very picky when it comes to restaurants, especially Mexican, and let me tell you; if you like flavor (not just salt…), this is the place for you! The food wasn’t all that impressed us — the wait staff was equally fantastic. Our waitress, Megan, was an absolute superstar. She was attentive, friendly, and made our experience very enjoyable. The restaurant was clean, and well staffed— a true hidden gem. After our first visit, we couldn’t resist going back again (only 2 weeks later), and I’m happy to report that the experience was just as perfect as before. “Tried Legacy Smokehouse in Hilliard downtown last night. Food was amazing and everyone there was super nice and friendly! Had a half rack of Baby Backs, 1/2 pound of Brisket, 1/4 pound Pulled Pork, Mexican street corn and baked beans. Everything was top notch! My favorites were the brisket (got the fattier cuts and it was possibly the most tender, moist, briskett I’ve ever had), the Mexican Corn (my wife and I both loved it), and I REALLY loved their mustard bbq sauce! Ribs, beans, and pork were great too but the brisket just really stopd out! The building is super cool as well but I got my food to go. I’m a bit of a bbq snob. Locally thusfar, Ray Rays is one of my favorites I’ve had a few times but Legacy might have them beat!“

“Zaki has easily become one of my favorite eateries in Cbus. The ingredients are so fresh and the flavors are on point. I am gluten free. They have a great menu with a lot of gluten free options, it is a blessing. I get a falafel bowl and add chicken; the generous portions result in leftovers or me sharing with friends. The gentlemen working greet you with a smile and are enthusiastic about the food they make. Highly recommend!“

“I wanted to try their empanadas; however, some equipment was down. It did not detour me from trying something new the Full Equipo Arepa. It was full of flavor, and filled. I also tried their sweet plantains. Both choices were great. I still will like to try their empanadas sometime.“

“Today we hit the road and grabbed some tacos from Taqueria Los Caporales, I had the Al Pastor Taco and my friend had the Carne Asada tacos with a Horchata.

I would say the Al pastor was great and perfect for something quick and on the go, only took ten minutes for both of our orders to come out and the hostess was very kind.

The Carne Asada was very flavorful, the horchata was sweet, not enough on the cinnamon, but tastes like a good “sweet milk”. You could taste the steak was marinated and the green sauce isn’t needed.

Overall I’d say I’d come back again for sure, but would love to see this food truck expand beyond Morse Rd because the location isn’t great and it’s outside of a Marathon.“

“I went to the Marion location. First time stopping in. I got the Brisket platter and two rib platters. I got them to go. The Brisket had great flavor, it was a little drier than I like my brisket but the flavor was there. The ribs were on point, tender juicy full of flavor. The sides I got were baked beans and Mac and cheese. The baked beans were great smoky flavor and a little bit of sweetness to them. The Mac and cheese perfect with how cheesy it was. Over all great food and friendly staff and you get your moneys worth of food. Keep up the good work“
