I tried Lan Viet for the first time for lunch on a Saturday and enjoyed the food. I ordered the shrimp rice and noodle bowl. The shrimp was delicious. The bowl could've used more spice and flavor. When I asked for extra sauce, the worker wasn't very pleased when handing it to me. I'm not sure if it normally costs extra? Anyways - the wings were so good and had a great crunch. I would come back!
This little restaurant makes the best Bahn Mi sandwiches. I have tried the pork and the traditional and the combination of the meat with the vegetables is an amazing flavor in your mouth. And the sandwiches are reasonably priced at $8 and big enough to share with a beer. The chicken pho is delicious. My friend brought it to me when I was sick and it was packaged so well. Delicious, authentic Vietnamese food - and healthy option in this food hall! The chicken wings are great - my dining partner said they may be the best she's ever had! We also split the pork banh mi and special Mama Lan pho - which were both great and flavorful. We got pho to go for my in-laws at home, which they thoroughly enjoyed! Definitely worth a visit!
