“Mulligans has quickly become one of our go to places, especially if we want a no nonsense, no surprises experience. Service is good, food is well above average and the price is always reasonable. Try the big club sandwich, the meat is a mile high and they leave off that superfluous middle piece of bread.“
“Bookhouse hosted us for semi-private event in the Tin Room, and I cannot overemphasize how much we enjoyed their beautiful space and joyous atmosphere. The beer selection is incredible and the entire staff was friendly and accommodating from booking to the night of the party. If you are looking for a supremely cool place to host an event (or just to have a beer), I highly recommend Bookhouse.“
“We went during lunch time on a Friday. I ordered the wiscosnonite burger and garlic parm fries with Mac and cheese and the Ace Space blood orange cider to drink. Let me tell you....EAT HERE!!! It was absolutely amazing. I have never been so happy with my food. Best food I've had if not the best in a very very long time.“
“Two co-workers and I went to the winking lizard for dinner after not eating all day, so we were starving. I ordered the cheese fries and one of my co-workers told the waitress to bring us two other random appetizers as well. She came back a short time later with the cheese fries, a chicken quesadilla, and nachos. They were all delicious. Then we had the tough decision on our meal. It was Thursday, which is Rib Night. Two of us got a rack of ribs and the other got a buffalo chicken salad. The ribs were great. The sides i had were mad and cheese and beans. The Mac and cheese seemed like velveeta shells and cheese. The beans were very sweet. After eating appetizers, i couldn't finish my ribs or my sides. It was great and I'll go back the next time I'm in the area.“
“I don’t go out to bars much these days but decided to stick my head in on St. Paddy’s as I’ve driven by a bunch. Looks so low key and not at all obnoxious from the outside - no advertisements for various alcohol, just a good old Christmas Story lamp in the window. Inside, it’s a warm and friendly neighborhood pub that made me feel welcome. Full of Irish cheer on the big day, but I’m sure there is some of that year round. Prices for a pint were fair maybe even in the lower side. Some places regulars don’t really like new people coming in or are cool or suspicious towards them. Not here at all. I barely drink anymore but if I was going to have a goto neighborhood pub this would be it.“
“One of the better restaurants in Tremont. Typically crowded, so make a reservation if you want a table at a certain time. Some of the staff can be a bit crabby, but our waiter was awesome.Fantastic drink selections, from cocktails and beer to liquor. You can't go wrong with any choice. We got the ethnic platters. Perfect amount of food and it was all delicious. Growing up eating pierogi and stuffed cabbage, I wasn't disappointed with the plate. I left full and satisfied.Don't miss this place if you're in the Tremont area.Parking: Street parking all around the park.Kid-friendliness: Kids are allowed. Might be a bit cramped, but they can join. Some options for kids as well for food.“
“I could not recommend a better place for real people real good food real good times and the something about it that can't quite be in words where if you find yourself there Pat will make you feel like family. I had to get married there so I did.“
“I can’t remember her name for the life of me but the lady bartender with shorter blonde hair is so kind and makes this place as great as it is. She is ALWAYS so warm and kind when we walk in and we appreciate her hospitality more than anything - makes the place feel more homey. They have good draft beers and also good canned beers if you’re looking for something different from what they have on draft! A great atmosphere and wonderful people (specifically that bartender we’ve had several times)!“
“We were walking down W 25th and saw Old Angle Tavern from the windows facing the street. It looked like a relaxed place that had some people in it, but wasn't overlying crowded so we strolled in. I'm glad we did!We sat at the bar and were greeted by a friendly bartender. After some light conversation, we ordered some food. I got some wings that really hit the spot! They have a great Buffalo sauce that's flavorful and spicy. And they're ranch dipping sauce is clearly made in house...I've never had ranch that was that buttery and tasty! My dining companion enjoyed his salad and soup as well. Great atmosphere and music too! I'll be back!“
“Moe's tavern was an very nice and comfortable place too be. What me and my friends did there was extremely wonderful and breath taking also the food was nice and hot ??? extremely wonderfully again. Then the outside dack was warm ful of air and fresh surroundings lol . ???Kid-friendliness: Everybody that visits Moe's Tavern should get along and enjoy the environment.“
“Aint there with 4 of my girlfriends to day? I can't believe I forgot to take a picture. I had the wings which were garlic buttered which were delicious. And everybody seemed to be very happy with their food period the quesadilla was really good. My one friend had the others had burgers. Everybody was very satisfied.“
“Rob is a "Rockstar" they didn't have wait service when we visited Saturday afternoon. Got our meals and the food is friggin' fantastic!!! They got slammed with patrons after we got served. And Rob made sure everyone was served and made to feel welcome.“
“So glad we stopped here for dinner at my friends bachelor party, everything was great. Guinness was poured perfectly and the meatloaf dinner was 5 star. Server was incredible as well. I would drive there from Toledo again just for dinner and a beer.“
“I discovered Rudy's Pub to be a charming establishment with its own unique character, and I can't wait to visit again. The food my son and I ordered was excellent, and the service was top-notch. I especially enjoyed the karaoke session , who made me feel right at home. If you're seeking a night out filled with fun and surrounded by good-hearted people, Rudy's Pub is the place to be! I'll definitely be returning.“
“Drove up from Port Clinton, Ohio to see Ethan Timm play. Great experience as soon as we opened the door! Our waiter was impeccable! Knowledgeable, prompt, kind, courteous, & friendly. Building has lots of unique character! Bartender made everyone in the room feel at home! Worth the drive!!!!“
“Despite the name, this is not a burger place. For some reason it gets in the list when you google best burgers in Cleveland. They do have one dish with burgers. The dishes are group dishes and are suppose to be shared. The pretzel and the octopus we ordered were delicious. The seating is geared towards large groups. This restaurant also automatically saves your credit card information unless you make sure to click that you don't want them to save your card.Parking: Typical downtown Cleveland parking“
“Delicious food . ? great place for lunch or dinner. One of the few places which know how to properly pour a pint of Guinness!Sit by a window or outside weather permitting. The views of the lakeshore & sky are nice.Dietary restrictions: Great for helping with my gluten free lifestyle.“
“This has been a Tremont staple for a long time. Overall good vibe although it can get crowded (as expected) on the weekends. Staff is funny and provide good service. A nice patio in the back. Drink prices are standard and they have a good selection overall.“
“Super cozy, friendly spot! Visiting from Atlanta for medical care for my 15 month old daughter and they treated us like they'd known us forever, kept her entertained, and served badass burgers (get the au poivre, simple but PERFECT.) Definitely coming back next time we're in town.“
“Still family owned, still carrying on the legend of Mitzi - many local articles were written about her over the years. A recent gentle makeover kept all the 110-year old features, it still feels like home. One of Cleveland's best bars, a literal time machine, so old school you are buzzed in at the front door just like Miss Mitzi did for decades. Nothing trendy here - which makes it perfect. Always an interesting night, with a mix of old timers, art school students, and devotees of authentic saloon vibes.“
“Edison's Pub delivered for a quick drink while in the Tremont area. They have a lot of taps and canned options - I went with a low ABV radler which was refreshing and not too sweet, and Nate got an IPA. The walls display tributes to Thomas Edison with light bulbs and other inventions. There are pool tables and darts and they have open mic nights. The bathroom was a bit of a scary dive bar basement situation but it was fairly clean. It looks like they used to have a pizza counter next door, but it didn't seem open when we were there. Good little neighborhood dive. I don't think I'd necessarily make a special trip to this spot, but it was fun to stop in while in the area.“
“Love the winking lizard. Always know what you're going to get when you dine in. They are consistent in food and service regardless of location. I have had a couple service issues, but overall they are generally on top of it. Carry out can be a challenge. I've stopped getting to go from them because of issues with the order. This trip was dine in and the food was solid. Only issue was we came in late and they seemed to be wanting to clean up for closing which was about 45 minutes away. As a result it was really hard to get soda refilled. Other wise.... No problem“
“Hosted my sister's 50th and everything was perfect! We had wings, tator skins, peppers and onions and nachos. The food was good! The party room held well over 50 people no problem and having a separate bar in it was perfect. The 2 bartenders were sweet and patient. The bar also had a dj on the outdoor patio, that was the icing on the cake! So so fun!“
“Lovely old fashioned neighborhood bar. Friendly staff and tasty daily meal specials they actually make. Today l had pork snitzel with real mashed potatoes. I think they cater mostly to the lunch crowd, so call ahead if you are making a special trip for dinner, in case they run out. Great value.“
“Honestly, the service was poor. Mistakes on orders, some things never came out, slow, unresponsive... Not rude, but not good. Whatever. 2/10The food started interesting. The dill pickle potato and bacon soup came as advertised. Too much dill going on. 3/10 but if you love dill probably higher for you. The consistency was not thick at all.3/10 dill potato and bacon soupMy wife loved the blackened tuna salad 8/10And then something happened. The crispy hot chicken sandwich. Order this. This damn sandwich was the best thing I've had at a restaurant in a very long time. Easily my favorite sandwich ever. Incredible. Crispy, with a tasty sauce. Buns were perfection. I took the tomato off because it was unnecessary. Get this sandwich10/10 Crispy Hot Chicken Sandwich. And the buffalo wings were absolutely top notch. Crispy. Probably overcooked for some people but that's how we like them with a great hot sauce8.5/10 buffalo wingsIf it wasn't for the sandwich, we'd probably not go back but it was worth all the inconsistent service alone.“
“First time here with friends. The atmosphere feels like a place for friends to get together and catch-up. Very relaxed setting ?I had their fried fish with tots and it would taste better to put the fish on the rack to drain a little more oil off...it was served a bit too oily.Just be extra cautious when reading your bill if you are part of a big party. Gratuity was added to the invoice when we had separate checks.“
“WINGS ARE GREAT. Fish fry is good. That said, normally I would not spend my time reviewing “just another Parma sports bar”, but I have to give credit to some of the best bar tenders I’ve ever witnessed. Last visit, the 2 bar tenders handled a massive crowd better than a 10 person staff at smaller joints. Employees like this are impossible to find now-a-days, so I salute you for your talent and great personality! Nice dart board area. No patio. Come as you are, and have some fun!“
“I’ve been here a couple times so far. I mainly come for karaoke, which are on Sundays & Wednesday. The atmosphere is very friendly, it’s never too crowded. Everyone is very very nice! The prices are good, they do not serve food at the moment but I do hope they would start soon. If you ever need a secret hangout spot, this is the place to be.“
“I want to personally thank Danielle for working through a concern I had after coming in late night. I expressed how I was feeling and my concern was met with genuine humanity and professionalism. Drink was amazing too. I liked the look of the place as well!“
“Super cute place and tons of fun! Xavier is a bomb cook. I had the nachos and they were so good I didn’t even care that I had some on my face. Tried the pierogies too, and they were excellent! Courtney was a blast, kept the drinks flowing and laughs happening. Let us choose the music too. Tatiana is a blast too, if you see her, you’ve got to try one of her shots! Bathrooms are clean, with unique street art, and there’s a fun patio area too. I didn’t even catch a sinus infection ??♀️This is my new spot! Thanks for such a fun day!“
“Food is phenomenal..I just had STUFFE D SALMON MAC N CHEESE AN CABBAGE..It was delectable???????????? the flavors in the stuffed salmon(spinach, shrimp and cream cheese!)oh my lawd! Mac n cheese was good and the cabbage delightful..the whole dinner was just plan SEXY..Excellent job to the chef and staff. “Held our Black Girl Social Club Cleveland Chapter Fatigue Brunch here and there were no complaints! From the amazing customer service of the events specialist, to the amazing servers, we were very pleased! The food was absolutely amazing! Our favorites included the Short Rib dish, the chicken Caesar salad, chicken and biscuit and of course the unlimited mimosas! ?“
“Excellent bar and restaurant in a very convenient area. This place has a secret Puerto Rican menu and I have to tell you the food was delectable. They serve very large portions, my wife and I both got the pork served with rice, potato salad and plantains. This is a must try restaurant that gives great value for your hard earned dollar.“
“Cool local bar/restaurant. I enjoyed the eclectic decor. I had the Simpleton burger with fries. The burger (angus) was just right- juicy and flavorful. I'm not sure what their special sauce is for the burger, but it is spectacular! The hand-cut fries were a bonus :) Special shout out to Kelsey, who was very attentive . Thanks, I will save this place as a favorite for the next time I come to Cleveland.“
“The only complaint I have about this bar is the seats are extremely uncomfortable. I've been here several times and the service is always friendly and prompt, the food is pretty good as well. All the seats are bar stools...not a fan of high top tables but not a deal breaker. The problem is when I sit in these it feels like I'm constantly sliding out of them. Business seems to be pretty good so I may be the only one complaining but if the seats were more comfortable I'd make it a regular stop.“
“I'm a Lyfer! Grew up in there. Memories............ Sportsmans' Lounge until the Bricks Fall. Oh yeah! Of course it's gone ALWAYS BE A FEW HATERZ RUNNING THEY MOUTH! The Sporty Mac should know. Been doing it for over THREE DECADES.......STRAIGHT......... RIGHT.“
