Red Mule Inn - Eaton, OH Reviews
Best food around. We always get the special of the day and it never disappoints. They have one of the best cooks around (Kara I think her name is) makes a amazing chicken bacon ranch sandwich (I think about it all week lol) and today we had her meatloaf and mash potatoes so so good. friendly staff all around always our go to lunch stop.
We stopped by the Red Mule Inn today. Deanna gave us some great tips on what to select. There's a lot to choose from on the menu. We are looking forward to stopping in again.
I ordered the taco salad. It tasted like Taco Bell meat, and old iceberg lettuce. A strange bitter taste to something. I have had a lot of taco salads from the Mule, but not under the new owner. Don't bother, it was terrible. ?

Based on the reviews, Red Mule Inn in Eaton, OH is a neat little bar place to eat. The food is generally considered the best food around, with top-notch, hot food and friendly staff. Customers always get the special of the day and it never disappoints. Specific meals mentioned include the chicken bacon ranch sandwich, meatloaf and mash potatoes, the Mule Burger, cheeseburger and fries, fried pickles, and waffle fries. The restaurant has a decent selection of beers on tap and low prices. However, the experience can be inconsistent. The food is great during the day, but after 5pm the cooks are horrible and inconsistent with how the food is made and tastes. Some recent reviews note the salad was not wonderful like it used to be, the blue cheese was not good, and the burgers seemed like a pre fried industrial burger. The pizza also seemed off. Despite this, the service is amazing, and the restaurant is perfect for a meal out. Parking is a bit tricky, and the entrance isn't well labeled, but this place is a gem.
