We had an awesome experience at dinner Saturday evening because waitress Sarah made sure of that! And she was very attentive without being annoying. Then the food was so delicious! I had the house made Porcini Mushroom Ravioli that was not only plentiful but was one of the best foods I’ve eaten in a restaurant in a long time, including downtown Cleveland. My wife and I had our first experience here at the black river tavern back in November 2023, it was one of cur Saturday date night destinations while trying to rebuild our marriage. We had a great time, great food and staff. We plan on going back very soon.

Our server was excellent. The food was good, but our appetizer, salad and pizza all came out at once, so we didn't really get to enjoy it all. The menu had a lot of good choices, so we will return.
