So many people have shared the same rotten experience my wife and I had at this disgusting place. I had no idea it was kiosk only ordering and everyone working completely ignored me. The burger was cold and bland with clumps of cold margarine on the lettuce, the bun was stale and tasteless too. The biggest French fry I got was maybe an inch long and nothing came at the same time. The tables and floors were filthy too. First time and last time I ever eat at this place.

Sat in line for 15 minutes to order in the drive through, and another 15 to get the food! Onle 1 car in line. The said "technical difficulties " but this is the second time in a row. Never again!

This place has great food for the price. My family and I went here to show my kids the experience that my wife and I had as kids. Unfortunately it is mostly self serve now. You order your food at a kiosk wait for your name to be called. Then you scan a QR code to get your drinks. Unreal how they have made it so they don't have to pay for workers anymore.

Tried to get a milkshake an hour and 30 minutes before closing but apparently they couldn’t make it because they were cleaning the machine.

Tables, floors, and countertops were dirty, everything was self-serve, and only 3 people were working. There was no explanation on how all the equipment worked, and they were out of almost all sodas. The food was not even cooked or tasted very well.
Our family has so often gone to Steak ‘n Shake over the years. It’s always been a favorite. Yesterday we stopped there and it was completely different. It was filthy. The bathroom was appalling. There wasn’t a single clean table or surface. I’m honestly shocked this place hasn’t been shut down for health codes. The food was inedible. We left and will never be returning. It will remain nostalgic for us.
