The staff is polite and anticipates our needs even when we didn't consider reuqet they refined our order to be more accurate.
The food was served fast, very fresh and warm. The portions were generous and prices low. Our first visit left quite the impression!“

“This is our new favorite local spot in Englewood. We moved here from Florida a little over a year and a half ago, and finally got to try it. My son had the Alfredo (no chicken)and a soda, I had the homemade sauce spaghetti, and we got a garlic cheese bread appetizer. It was so delicious! We paid $36 for everything. I feel like that is a very fair price for today's time. I can easily pay $30 at any fast food joint, so paying this for a sit down place is good IMO. It's a hole on the wall local place. If you're looking for fancy restaurant, you won't like it. For my family, we live local places like this. Oh, and the service was wonderful. All of the staff were so friendly.“

“It’s a great place, we go every year for an event we come to. This year was great food but I will say the service was pretty bad for our table of 5 people. The table of our people next to us has a great server but ours was either new or having a bad day. We had to physically go find the server 3 times. But, great food and great trip every year.“

“Ok so we’ve dined at Old Scratch Troy location about 6 times since it’s opened. Waited a bit to give them time to really get in their groove. While I do recommend the place. Pizza is good, staff is nice (especially Amanda at the bar) and shareables are tasty. That said I would like to see the food’s taste be a little more consistent. My favorite dish is the fire roasted cauliflower but sadly it hasn’t been prepared the same way twice with the last two times it was barely seasoned at all once it was almost raw. Hopefully as training continues they will fix that issue.“

“Sueño is now easily our favorite Mexican restaurant in Dayton. The atmosphere is vibrant, with great energy and stylish decor. The service is impeccable, complete with complimentary valet parking! Their cocktails are a highlight, especially 'The Guy,' and the food is out of this world. We tried the chips and salsa, (Salsa del Día), Tacos de Cochinita, and the smoked chicken enchiladas — all were absolutely delicious. The smoked chicken enchiladas were so good that we had to order a second serving. I could eat their chips and salsa every day; the salsa, possibly a fermented pineapple and jalapeño blend, is one of the best I’ve ever tasted. If you're looking for upscale Mexican cuisine, Sueño will not disappoint!“

“Great food and great service. My only complaint is that some of the tables are crammed together. It was awkward on Valentine's weekend as the tables were so close in the area I was sat that it felt like we were sitting at a table with strangers. One side was a single long bench and I was maybe two feet from someone else. It was impossible not to overhear all the conversations. Not the atmosphere you want for this occasion.“

“Visited on a Sunday for brunch around 11. Restaurant was busy and we were recommended to make reservations, however we were able to get a table for two with very little wait.
Food was delicious and service was excellent and quick.
We ordered the Hangover Bowl, Meat Omelette, and Fried Chicken and Waffle Sandwich. I ordered a side of bacon with a side of Cajun Butter for my waffle. The portions sizes are a good size and the omelette and waffle sandwich are highly recommended.
Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.“

“My friend lives off 3rd Street and said she had fabulous food here. When I pulled up I wasn't sure what I was walking into but have been there almost every week since my first time a few months ago. Great food, really good service and you get your food quick! And did I mention the prices! Wow so well priced. Great quesadillas, great burritos and out of this world salsa. Try them, you will not be sorry. In case you didn't realize, I highly recommend this amazing little family run restaurant.“

“We grabbed dinner before seeing the musical, The Wiz, and it was the perfect start to our night. I went with my mom, wife, and mother-in-law, and the cozy vibe really set us up for a great evening. The drinks were good and fried brie cheese were quick to arrive

The food was awesome all around. The risotto was super rich and comforting, the salmon was cooked perfectly, and the New York steak was tender cooked medium-rare with that smooth, tasty puree, was definitely on point. I tried the crab cake on noodles, which was a nice surprise and packed with flavor. For dessert, the espresso creme brulee was amazing, so creamy with just enough espresso, and the perfect pre-show treat

Tyler took such good care of us from beginning to end. He was attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. Totally recommend it, and we'll for sure be back!!“

We started off with pretzel bites, hot and delicious! Started off with cups of gumbo, perfect on a cold rainy day! Great soup loaded with shrimp, chicken and sausage. The space is great, simple modern and perfectly decorated. The bartenders were super helpful and kind, and the cherry on top was that the playlist absolutely slapped. The staff is always friendly, helpful and attentive. The food is ALWAYS exceptionally good. If you've never tried Indian, the biggest they offer is very reasonably priced and offers a WIDE selection of items to help hone in on your preferences.“

“Hoagie's was a staple for me in the 80s and early 90s when I lived nearby and worked in the Poe Avenue area. It had been a long time since I'd visited so I drove over (across town from Fairborn - about 25 minutes one way) and ordered when I got there. I got two pizzas, a whole Spider (one of my all time favorite sandwiches) and the stuffed garlic bread. I grabbed a Coke and sat outside on their patio in the lovely weather. 20-ish minutes later, they brought my order right out to me. It think it was about $40 and well worth it. The pizza was just as I remembered it - the big thing I love is their sauce has a great tomato flavor and isn't too sweet. Great crust and well topped. I ordered my wife's pizza light sauce and they did it perfectly. The Spider was everything I remembered and the stuffed bread sticks might be my wife's new favorite thing. They have a nice amount of inside seating and the staff was very friendly. While I was waiting outside, it was a constant stream of folks coming for pickup orders. Hoagie's is as good as I remember and it will be on our regular rotation going forward. I just made me happy to reconnect with some of those memories from my first job working in that area and to get back to Hoagie's. If you have the chance, you should go.“

“This is the most AMAZING Bourbon Chicken and White Rice, I've ever had!! The portion size is generous for the price you pay. The atmosphere was comfortable and the staff was friendly, wirh great service. If I had the money to eat out everyday, I'd eat there at least once a day everyday. I had to pit pieces of it out because it was so dry. I was very disappointed because their food is usually good. I learned to NEVER get the bbq chicken on the buffet....I rather they tell me the chicken was old and dry than to give me an extra piece. I wanted juicy, hot chicken, not lukewarm dry, hard to chew chicken. A person could choke on that dry bbq, come on Burgermasters, feed that to the dogs, don't cover old chicken up in hbq sauce and sell it for regular price to customers that love you guys.. that's how places go out of business. I may give you another chance, but just know that you broke my expectations and heart today because I brought my daughter to your establishment and introduced you guys to her as a future customer.“
