Kawali Filipino Cuisine Reviews
One of my favorite restaurants! The Kare-kare is delicious, and in my opinion is one of the best dishes served anywhere in the Dayton area. The spicy beef makes me feel warm and happy; it's like a hug in a bowl! We have enjoyed all dishes we have tried!

Kawali Filipino Cuisine is a hidden gem in the Dayton area, serving authentic and delicious Filipino food that truly hits the soul. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including vegetarian options like vegetable Lumpia, though there are only 1-2 vegetarian items available. The food here reminds many of home, with classic Pinoy flavors that taste just like old Tita's cooking. The inside is clean, quiet, and cozy, with a warm atmosphere created by friendly staff who take care of customers like family. The menu features dishes such as Pancit, Adobo Chicken, Spicy Beef, Torta, and Halo Halo, all prepared with high-quality ingredients and seasoned to perfection. Portions are generous, and prices are great, making it a good value. Customers praise the delicious food, especially the Adobo and Halo Halo, which is not too sweet and fun to eat. The cafeteria-style service allows customers to choose from about 9 daily-made items that come with rice. Many mention the large parking lot, though the markings are hard to see due to fading. The welcoming environment and authentic flavors make Kawali Filipino Cuisine a must-visit for anyone craving Filipino food. The staff, including Remy, Joremie, and Geneva, make guests feel at home, and meals to go are also available. Be sure to check their Facebook page for hours and daily menus.
