When I was 14 back in 1996 I bought a pack of cigarettes out of the vending machine in the front, to show off to my girlfriend. The kid behind the counter looked concerned but he kind of looked the other way. That was very cool of him. I didn’t smoke any because I was too scared. I threw them away eventually.
A week later I went back and ordered a bowl of chili and it was delicious.
