Let me preface this review with we didn't order and traditional Vietnamese food. We stopped in for a quick snack. We got the wings and combo appetizer. Both were a let down. The spring rolls tasted like they were previously frozen, the crab rangoon was entirely cream cheese and the items had a weird aftertaste like the fryer was cleaned but not rinsed properly. The wings were just plain deep fried and served with a weird sauce that tasted like it was straight from a jug....
My first experience ordering Pho and it made me so happy. I could not believe how flavorful the broth was. I would never have guessed this could and would be so tasty. I ordered the Pho with shrimp and he ordered the Pho with steak and brisket. Next time I will get the steak. Adding Sriracha and hoisin and a squeeze of lime was chef's kiss!
