My son and I stopped to get gas and saw their signs promoting the 89¢ large Big Gulp drinks. When I went to pay, the total came out to $3.98. I asked if they were 89¢, and the cashier said, “No, they’re not on sale anymore.” I mentioned that the sign outside still shows 89¢, and she asked someone else, who replied, “No, not on our windows.” I clarified that it was on the large board outside. Anyway, I paid the $3.98 and walked out — followed by a gentleman who went to take the sign down.
