We were in town to visit the Cincinnati Zoo and found your restaurant for dinner. We tried your large burritos, one with carne asada, the other with barbacoa. These burritos were delicious, and generously stuffed. The added side of rice made the meal superb. Our waitress was attentive and very pleasant. Taqueria Mercado is a must stop if you are in the Fairfield, Ohio area.
The fact this place doesn't have 5 starts is a travesty. The first time I ate here, my impression of what Mexican food is evolved to a new level. I can't eat at any other Mexican restaurant without reminiscing on how great this place is. 10/10
I had the fish tacos and another had the quesadilla (was huge!). No chips at the table weirdly enough. Didn't ask for it either. The tacos were pretty good, very street taco! A little pricey for what you got but very tasty! Very good pico de gallo!
