Big Eye Japanese Cuisine & Sushi Bar

This restaurant is a gem beyond all gems!!
I recently attended a 12-person birthday celebration and was completely blown away on so many levels. The restaurant itself is clean and welcoming, and the sushi counter beautifully displays their fresh fish. Every sushi dish was a work of art! The selection was stunning and the portions were so generous. My grilled chicken stir fry was honestly the best stir fry I’ve ever eaten. The chicken was juicy, enveloped by a light brown sauce and crisp tender vegetables. I couldn’t stop eating it. Above all, the true diamond of this restaurant is the staff. We had a person in our party with a food allergy and this was taken seriously. Jenny was so knowledgable about each dish and any allergens. Each team member we met was kind, gracious, and so attentive. Thank you Big Eye for lovingly giving us a birthday celebration to remember ❤

We went to this place on a whim, and being new to the area we weren’t sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was clean, the staff greeted us and accommodated our family needs right away. All the food we ate was delicious and the sushi tasted fresh and was very filling. The sushi was also beautifully presented. Our family will be visiting again.

Simply some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Our waitress was also such a sweet person and was so timely. The food came out incomprehensibly fast and everything was fresh. I didn’t photograph it, but the salad was the biggest salad I’ve seen at any sushi restaurant. The dumplings had such a thin and crispy casing, and the sauce they came with was addictive. We got the Angel Roll which was our favorite, as well as the Tony Roll and Shrimp Tempura roll. You’ll leave here feeling satisfied without breaking the bank. I will undoubtably be back!

Great place... but my wife got her food almost 19 minutes before I got mine.. not good!

My dad comes here all the time and they had toro sushi and it was delicious. It's a quiet atmosphere with a large menu, you'll have no problem finding something delicious to order. 🩷🍣

Sashimi is perfect. Harvest Sangria is excellent.

Firstly, our service was exceptional and our experience was not impacted by anything in that regard.

The establishment could use a thorough cleaning, especially for dine-in patrons. I still have a stain on my sweater from where I laid my wrist on the table and it was sticky, this was prior to any service. We noticed the table that was seated next to us shared similar concerns about table stickiness and requested to move. We were in a booth and I noticed the walls and blinds had grime everywhere. So my expectations were already dampened.

The food presents well enough but that’s about it. Pretty. Just isn’t for us. Maybe we visited on an off night?

The best sushi around while also staying affordable. You won’t regret choosing Big Eye. We come here often and have never had a bad experience. Lots of great options on the menu. The ginger dressing on the house salad is INCREDIBLE. Always good service and calming music that isn’t too loud.

The guy who took my order was really nice and professional and you can tell he wants every customer to be pleased ! My food was really different but delicous !!!!!

Update May 10 2026 the food 🍱 is still absolutely amazing omggggg and Jenny is so nice 😊 omg I wish they had food like this in New Jersey 😩
