“The food was Delicious! I had a seafood curry dish over rice noodles: the calamari was a bit chewy but the shrimp & scallops were perfect & the sauce & veggies were great. Our server was lovely & attentive & the restaurant looked new & fresh. It was very warm, but I live in MI so...I look forward to visiting my family again so I can try another dish at Paper Rice.”

Zoe the manager LOVES her customers and treats us like guests in her home. That alone is reason to return—you are always greeted with warmth, & genuine care & friendliness when you arrive. 2. Our server, Owen, remembered us from last time (a month ago!)and brought our food out quickly with a Big Smile & gracious care. 3. THE FOOD IS PHENOMENAL!! We had the Godzilla roll & the Sweetheart roll—both original & exceptionally good. We had their handmade egg rolls & fried dumplings (you get EIGHT instead of the usual 6!)—the sauces for both were delicate & aromatic—truly GORGEOUS. We became regulars after our first visit! “Clean location, staff have been helpful and accommodating each time we visited. We enjoying trying the new rotations of treats that they keep putting out. Having the minis available now is a great improvement. Store gets a bit crowded at peak times.

Parking: In a lot with a few other business

Kid-friendliness: A smaller area and there are display cookies out so kids maybbe able to grab these. Also they have tablets for ordering which kids can reach.”

“We order my daughter's birthday cake or cupcakes from here every year and have done so since we had her 9th birthday party there 11 years ago. I'm not much of a sweets person but my daughter and family and friends always love the cakes! Jean is always super accommodating and is happy to customize to my daughter's requests. Plus it's so adorable inside this shop! Highly recommend!”

“Just passing through and the smoke stopped me in my tracks. I'm a BBQ fanatic, and this place is in my top three. Collard greens made with an excellent vinegar, savory corn pudding and "don't need no sauce" pulled pork. I will venture off of Route 75 every time I pass through Dayton from now on.”

“rockne’s has been my favorite restaurant since i was a kid. they closed all the closest ones to me so now we drive 40 minutes just to go to this one because it’s amazing every time!!! the service is amazing and the food always comes out quickly. the food is delicious every time, and they give huge portion of fries. the prices are also incredibly fair for how much food you get. i’ll always come back to rockne’s and i wish there were still more of them closer to us!!”

“I had the Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie Oat Milk ice cream. The flavor was great and the texture was great! So creamy! The nutritional info on their website makes it seem like all of their non-dairy flavors are also vegan. Would definitely recommend!”

“I am not from the fairlawn area, just stopped to this location for a quick lunch. I wanted to highlight an interaction I saw with Liz, who im assuming was a manager. There was a woman sitting behind us who wasnt enjoying her meal, and had some serious dietary restrictions. Liz went above and beyond for this woman. Getting her nutrition information, offering different food options, trying to find a solution for her to enjoy her meal within her restrictions. I probably watched Liz walk back and forth 10 times and spent close to 30 minuets, during the afternoon rush, with this woman to attempt to make her happy. Unfortunately this woman wasnt having it and then got upset when she was no longer hungry and wasnt willing to exchange her meal for something else. The lady was appreciative in the end for the time that Liz spent with her thankfully. I think at the end of the day, she wanted someone to talk to about her situation and Liz help provide that for her. While this is my first time at this location, I can tell that Liz embodies the chick fil a customer service model, going above and beyond.”

“The food is good and the service is mostly good. However… The soda machine has tasted terrible for almost two years, especially the Diet Coke. It taste like straight carbonated water. We’ve told the staff each time we go in and they just shrug their shoulders. Fix it, or get a new machine! Also, with everyone in the world complaining about fresh water shortages, you would think they’d repair the mens bathroom sink hot water spigot. Like the soda machine, its been broken for two years. It is a constant stream. I would’ve thought the owner would repair it to save on his water bill…heck it’s only a $10 valve! But, just like the soda machine, the staff just shrugs their shoulders as if its no big deal. After telling the staff about both issues many times over the past two years, I thought posting it in a public forum would help motivate the owner in his repairs.”

“It's a nice establishment, but like most Burntwood Taverns, I find it to be a little on the pricier side. The food is pretty good, even with the pricing, but I usually steer clear due to the cost. Service was fabulous, and we even had a larger party. Unbeknownst to us, we also went out on the same night as a local high school dance, but they were able to accommodate a handful of larger parties simultaneously without any issues.”

“I recommend that it’s way more than pizza and wings! I met the amazing owner! We had the garlic twists that were unbelievably delicious! Then I ordered the Tower of Eggplant! OMG!!! Huge and sooo good! Then they brought me a sample of the Wedding Soup!!!!!!!! The best soup I’ve ever had in my 57 years! ( bought a quart to go!) You’re missing out if you don’t try this place!😉😍”
