“Placed a delivery order. Fellow who answered phone was pleasant and professional.
Order arrived earlier than promised.
We ordered two salads, thin crust pizza, pint of cole slaw, and a box of steak fries.
All intended hot items were hot. Salads were crispy and fresh.
We are always pleased with meals.“

“I will be honest, I haven’t eaten there yet but just had the greatest experience that restored my faith in humanity just a little bit. I was in the Akron area for training with TNVC and I assume my iPad was stolen. Today it pinged at someone’s house and then it pinged in the parking lot of the Basement a few hours after I locked it and left a message for the would be thief. I called and spoke with Stephanie, and after explaining what had happened she was king enough to walk to the parking lot while I pinged it. The thief had dumped my iPad in the dumpster, thankfully not too deep. I just wanted to say that Stephanie was amazing for being such a good person and helping someone with no expectation of receiving anything in return. Next time my family and I are in the Akron/waterloo area I will make sure I patronize The Basement if only to help repay a bit of the kindness shown! This is how a neighborhood restaurant does it!“

“We got the hot honey pizza. It was our first experience here. I'm in love! I usually get extra cheese and extra sauce because I hate dry pizza but didn't just to see how the place worked. And I'm actually shocked how well the pizza tasted! I'm just blown away. Really good ratio of sauce and cheese and the crust was so crispy and tasty. “Anything I've ever tried off the menu here has been delicious. They have specials for each day and I recommend trying the special of the day. Also they make great drinks ! I recommend the Jamaican Mule, I get it every time, it's delicious. Food wise you can't go wrong. The owner throws down in the kitchen, especially with the seafood and burgers. Talk about good seasoning, everything's seasoned delightfully. My favorites so far are the Shrimp Quesadillas (Tuesday is quesadilla day) , their Summit Lake fries and every Friday is fish Friday with a great deal on yellow tailed perch fried to perfection. This place is tastier than any sit down restaurant in the area trust me. 10/10“

“I've always loved their dinners. They never disappoint. Although the hot sauce I like it mild but it's a little spicy for me but I eat it with the slaw and it's not so bad. I always get the chicken dinner with at least 5 pieces. So good!“

“Bar maid's boy friend was at the end of the bar. Needless to say he got 80% of her attention. It was difficult to spend money or get a drink. Food tasted great. Although my French dip sandwich came with enough dip for about two bites. I would guess it was just the bar maid doing a poor job. She spent a lot of time in the kitchen. The Thursday day bar tender needs a different job. I will return hoping for better service.“

“I only order about 6 pizzas a year. I make a good one. I have been ordering here for a year. Used to be a big fan of the local Gioninos. Over decades, constant orders wrong, rude or hour late delivery. Dominos is great. The pizza is always hot, as ordered and early. The delivery people are professional and pleasant. It is not the Dominos I grew up with. I did have one issue that I think was user error. When I contacted them to adjust the bill, they were responsive, timely and professional.“

I doordashed three piece box with potato wedges, Honey Biscuits and jambalaya. The only negative thing I can say is that I didn't get the potato wedges. The chicken was hot and tasted fresh and juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside. I love the flavor of the Cajun spices. The jumbalaya was pretty good, a bit dry but I think that was because it cooled down. The biscuits are insane.“
