Chicken Wings near Tallmadge

“This is much more than your average run of the Mill pizza joint the pickle pizza and spaghetti pizza are by far some of the best pizzas I’ve had not to mention their chicken wings, particularly with the spicy peach sauce this place hits every flavor you could be craving also plenty of gluten-free options which I thought was cool“

“I went in and picked up 2 pizzas between 430 and 5 o'clock. I actually called the manager over and told him that I think this is one of the cleanest pizza shops that I have seen in a long time. It's an open type pantry kitchen where you can look in there and see what's going on. At all times the workers were all cleanly dressed and they had either hair nets on or they had ski hats on so they did not get hair in the food. We ordered their garden sprain in a 16 inch with pepperoni, and also ordered a cauliflower 12 inch. With half pepperoni in the garden pizza, it was very delicious and I would highly recommend it.“

“Service could be better the last two times I have gone they either don't give me my extra dipping sauce that i paid for or they give me just 2 out 4 that I've paid for, that was the second time. Bummer when you go in a remind them and they still don't.“

“I know I'm not the only one who is singing the praises of Boss ChicknBeer, but I almost cried with joy just reading the menu last night. The staff was very accommodating and funny to boot. I asked what a Tupac was, and was informed that he was a rapper from the '90s who was tragically taken out in his prime. 🤣 (it's two chicken strips, a sauce, and a side. I did walk into that... ) Beer, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, mac & cheese... oh my tots! I cannot wait to get back there! 😍“

“I will be honest, I haven’t eaten there yet but just had the greatest experience that restored my faith in humanity just a little bit. I was in the Akron area for training with TNVC and I assume my iPad was stolen. Today it pinged at someone’s house and then it pinged in the parking lot of the Basement a few hours after I locked it and left a message for the would be thief. I called and spoke with Stephanie, and after explaining what had happened she was king enough to walk to the parking lot while I pinged it. The thief had dumped my iPad in the dumpster, thankfully not too deep. I just wanted to say that Stephanie was amazing for being such a good person and helping someone with no expectation of receiving anything in return. Next time my family and I are in the Akron/waterloo area I will make sure I patronize The Basement if only to help repay a bit of the kindness shown! This is how a neighborhood restaurant does it!“

“The ONLY reason for four starts on the food is the quantity of grease/oil that is on the pizza. It’s a lot of oil and would definitely be 5star if they can find a way to get the pizza to be the same but deduct how much oil is used so the bottoms of the slices aren’t so wet in the oil. Even then the pizza is still a solid four! High recommend this place for pizza.“
