The Fairlawn store is our go to. Always smells amazing and is very clean. I always get brisket, cause it is so delicious, but this time we also tried the smoked turkey, and it was fire. 🔥 The staff is always welcoming and the leadership team is always visible and engaging. They also have the best half cut tea! Keep up the great food and service!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Atmosphere was good. The restaurant appeared clean. The service was good but one employee gets a shout out as she was excellent. Her name was Annie. She was friendly, professional and very helpful. We ordered a brisket sandwich called More Cowbell. It was very good. We also ordered half slab ribs and 2 pieces of chicken. Both were excellent. We didn't give 5 stars because the BBQ sauce was just ok. The corn pudding and baked beans were ok. The sweet tea was really good. It's worth going. We'll definitely be back.

By far the worst bbq that I’ve ever ate. First it started off with the cashier and she also bags the food she handled the money & then packed Togo orders for people with the same gloves on. I usually go to mission bbq but wasn’t in the area of one, so I decided to try city bbq. My turkey was dry & pink around the edges, the corn bread was also gross & didn’t taste like cornbread. The beef brisket also tasted like it was frozen at some point dry, even though it was moist. It also leaked all over the bag because it’s put in a paper container with a piece of paper around it so it leaked all over everything. It was also way more expensive for such a little amount of food. I paid $44 for garbage. I will not be eating here again.
