First visit here this year. The food is still great quality but I do have to agree with other reviews that it is a bit greasy. The waitress was very helpful and nice. I tried their craft root beer and while I liked it, it might not be everyone's choice because it has a strong molasses taste and possibly a little bit of sassafras. In other words, a definite old fashioned root beer from the past century. My partner had their smash burger and spicy cheese bites and both were excellent in her opinion. I had their pizza burger and onion rings and both were quite tasty. The onion rings were nice and crispy. The only fault I had was the seasoning on my burger seemed to be all concentrated on one half. Hopefully, I have a chance to come back before they close for the season.

Good food and prices are in line with current market. The double smash burger is nice and big and was cooked as a smash burger should be…not like typical hamburger. The fries were great crinkle cut. Definitely reminds me of the way A&W drive-ins used to be. Carhops and all. Will go again.

I'm conflicted on how to review this place. The atmosphere, service, and food are everything you could ask for. However, it's a rootbeer stand and that's where the issue lies. If you try to order the craft rootbeer, they will make sure to clarify that you actually want that and not the fountain rootbeer. The fact that they bend over to clarify which rootbeer you want should be the warning you need to re-evaluate your choices. If you like craft rootbeer, steer clear of this. It will make you question your own taste and love of craft rootbeers. I love traveling and trying different ones. This is sadly the first I've ever had that's just plain awful. If a pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks had a baby with an off the shelf rootbeer brand. This would be the bastard child they created. I rarely leave negative reviews but I'm kind of flabbergasted that someone brewed this and thought that it tasted good enough to serve. I know the spectrum of flavor in rootbeer is vast but holy smokes.. I'm not sure if this is a new brewing operation or an inexperienced brewery to begin with. However, I'm not even sure that thing can be dialed in. It needs thrown out and taken back to the drawing board.

Formerly an A,&W. Rootbeer stand. Same tradition. If it's super hot? Get it to go. Eat in AC

I always forget this gem is here😅 it’s in a weird part of town where we don’t travel often so it’s kinda out of site out of mind. Food is great and I’m glad millers took it over and opened it back up I used to go here with my dad back in the day I forget what it was back then. Great food and amazing employees💕

Starting off with a positive - the young ladies working were incredibly helpful and polite. That being said, this place is going to price themselves out of business. We were so excited to visit for the first time tonight. 4 plain hot dogs, 4 sides of fries, 4 small Barq’s root beers, and a brisket sandwich… $65 after leaving our car hop a small tip. I suppose I should’ve done some math prior to ordering, but yikes. The quality is that of a small town ice cream shop - fine for lunch on a nice day but certainly not worth $16+ per person.

Way over priced. The fact that a small barqs root beer was $4 is insane. $4 for a plain hot dog is outrageous. Food was okay, nothing great. We won’t ever be back.

Outrageously priced. $4 for a small mug of Barqs root beer? $4 for a plain hot dog? I will never visit again. At least the girls working were nice.
