Mr. Sushi Reviews
Food is tasteless. Sushi is Room Temperature and the rice is mushy.
I’d rather eat grocery store sushi.
WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR RETURN.
This is by far the best sushi in central Ohio. Able, fresh fish, atmosphere… everything you want out of a good sushi place. And the prices are VERY reasonable for Columbus. Big portions, big hearts. This place is the best.
I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and I finally had the opportunity. I was having a craving for some tasty sushi and this restaurant did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and attentive. The menu has such a large selection of sushi and other food items, I was having a hard time trying to decide what to try for my first time here. I went with the spicy tuna rolls, spicy salmon rolls, and couple of specialty rolls since I had not had any food all day and...read full review

Mr. Sushi offers great service and delicious food. The shrimp tempura and miso soup were highlights, while the edamame was a bit bland. The spicy tuna and California rolls had a nice kick, and the teriyaki salmon was excellent. The deep-fried gyoza is a must-try, and the boat with 48 pieces was fresh and tender. The shrimp and vegetable tempura, along with the shrimp soba noodles, were hot and delicious.
Customers describe the sushi as extremely creative and absolutely delicious, with the Firestone roll being a standout dish. The sushi is incredibly fresh, and the restaurant puts unique ingredients like sweet potato in some rolls, which surprisingly works well. The dragon roll and o.m.g roll were fabulous, and the vegetable tempura was delicious. The rolls are always the perfect size, tightly rolled, super fresh, and packed with flavor. Even the kids crave the sushi, and the whole dining experience is amazing. The service is always friendly, and it's easy to get in with no long waits.
Overall, this is considered the best sushi place in Columbus, offering a sushi bar with additional Japanese food options.
