Stopped at Taco Bell around 5 AM and ordered a chicken chalupa. Unfortunately, the food was cold, and the service was lukewarm at best. Nothing particularly welcoming or impressive about the experience.
I don't expect five-star service at 5 AM, but I do expect my food to be hot and the customer service to be decent. Apparently, that was asking too much.
Sadly, a pretty typical Taco Bell experience.

Always great service in the drive thru. Very fast and usually never mess up our order. Food is always hot and delicious.
You got my order, you got home. It was still hot. It was very delicious, and I will go back

Taco Bell is a friendly spot where the workers are always smiling. The food is hot and tasty, with new grilled cheese fries that are delicious. This is a well managed, clean facility with a courteous and energetic staff. The food is prompt and fresh as ordered most every time. While there can be an occasional longish wait, the order is perfect and the people are kind, making it a great place to stop by for a quick and satisfying meal anytime.
