“This was the best coffee shop I’ve ever been to!! We were on a trip for our 19th wedding anniversary, and went there twice. The food, atmosphere, service, all were spectacular. My husband said, “It’s a good thing we don’t live around here or I’d be broke!” It’s that good. Check it out!”

“My wife and I found this place while looking for parking. Turns out Mary's was a great discovery. I had a Reuben which was excellent. My wife had a burger that she wasn't thrilled with ( was from a frozen patty), and her fries were greasy. But we had great service and there is a friendly staff. We would go there again though.”

“We were on our anniversary trip so were unsure as to where to go for dinner. This restaurant came up as a suggestion. The outside patio with the ‘food truck’ is so neat. We didn’t eat outside due to the rain, but loved the scene. Even the outside of the building is festive! We were seated right away and received a booth as requested. My husband asked for a virgin daiquiri and he got gummy worms, etc on top, it was cool. The food, service, and atmosphere were all amazing. I’ll post my pictures. We were very impressed, and if we lived closer we’d definitely be regular customers.”

“Stopped in for the gluten free gnocchi dinner. Everything was delish, ate every last bite! Very few local establishments that I can order gluten free from. not to mention to know it's gonna be delishious and safe for me to eat. Love that this place features Home-made gluten free entrees! “We’ve added The Boot to our regular rotation of restaurants. Wing Wednesday is crazy good and the wings are huge. We’re also big fans of the Friday fish fry. The soup sampler is genius and the soups have been really good. We have in the past had waitress issues, as others noted, but they have been really good lately. It’s loud and the ambiance is that of a no-frills local restaurant, but if you’re looking for an unpretentious place with great and affordable food, this is it.”

“Went here for dinner and as soon as we were seated, two large parties came in after us. They called in an extra cook for back up and even though they were very busy during our time at Piero’s, they managed to get our orders out earlier than expected. I was very impressed with only one server and two cooks how helpful the entire staff was to execute the dinner rush seamlessly. Everyone had a hand in delivering plates, checking in, and cleaning up. Kudos to Piero’s Pasta house and the team you have. We will certainly be back!”

Karaoke Night, on Thursdays is a good way to have fun and show off your talent. Also on the weekends, are various bands. Come join the party.”

“10/7/2023: 10 of us from Canton Ohio walked to the “Water Street Bar” from our rental at 430 N. Broadway. It was a 1 minute walk to Water St. and another 1 minute walk down the St.. We had a great time at this little gem of a neighborhood bar, playing pool (2 tables). Very clean and spacious , lots of bar seats at the bar while watching pool. The owner Ernie, was generous buying us drinks and accommodating our various needs. Great place after a day of wineries. There was no food because they were only open 2 weeks after shut down from Covid but food was in their future. Friendly neighborhood bar, left a $100 Nike OSU jacket there that night and they had it waiting for us to comeback for it the next evening!”

“Beautiful views with lots of outdoor seating. Next time we will know to bring our own snacks, but you truly cannot beat the view from the back patio. The tasting line was long when we arrived, but moved very quickly and the staff was extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend. We walked in with a group of 7 and had no issue finding somewhere to sit and relax.”

“My father & I both tried the wings, pulled pork sandwiches, and lemonade! Everything was absolutely delicious! The wings are smoked to perfection, and the meat just literally falls off the bone when you take a bite! The sauce has a wonderful flavor to it. Their pulled pork looks to be hand pulled, which is the best, because a lot of other places use shredded pork, and I don’t think it is as good! Theirs is also juicy and delicious! The lemonade is hand made and tastes just like what you would get at the fair! Overall the food is very good and fresh, we will definitely be going back!”

“Tonight I was wowed by the customer service. I had gone for a walk through the state park with my son and friend. After we wanted ice cream— not even realizing the time and that things had gone to weekend hours. Our preferred place here already closed so we drive through the strip”

“This is a review from someone who craves these year long and lives 200 miles away but comes back every summer for at least two per visit. Delicious meats (and non meat options) and seasoning all compiled with just the right ratio of the good stuff: cilantro lime rice, sour cream, salsa, and rice and beans. Dairy left out for the vegans, so there's something for everyone! Be ready for giant, tasty burritos that you'll travel back to GOTL for every time! Try the Effin Crawler (an upgraded walking taco) when you can't commit to the big burrito, but definitely get the big burrito to go on your way home. Combine great taste and portion size with the nicest, coolest guy you'll ever meet, and you'll see why I'm taking all the time to write this.”
