“The beer here is WAY above average for a small town brewery. Only tried their Italian pilsner and red, but both were very clean and good examples of their style. Vibe inside is great, staff was super friendly. If I wasn't on the west side I would be coming to this brewery a LOT more!”

“My wife and I found this place while looking for parking. Turns out Mary's was a great discovery. I had a Reuben which was excellent. My wife had a burger that she wasn't thrilled with ( was from a frozen patty), and her fries were greasy. But we had great service and there is a friendly staff. We would go there again though.”

“We were on our anniversary trip so were unsure as to where to go for dinner. This restaurant came up as a suggestion. The outside patio with the ‘food truck’ is so neat. We didn’t eat outside due to the rain, but loved the scene. Even the outside of the building is festive! We were seated right away and received a booth as requested. My husband asked for a virgin daiquiri and he got gummy worms, etc on top, it was cool. The food, service, and atmosphere were all amazing. I’ll post my pictures. We were very impressed, and if we lived closer we’d definitely be regular customers.”

“Stopped in for the gluten free gnocchi dinner. Everything was delish, ate every last bite! Very few local establishments that I can order gluten free from. not to mention to know it's gonna be delishious and safe for me to eat. Love that this place features Home-made gluten free entrees! “We’ve added The Boot to our regular rotation of restaurants. Wing Wednesday is crazy good and the wings are huge. We’re also big fans of the Friday fish fry. The soup sampler is genius and the soups have been really good. We have in the past had waitress issues, as others noted, but they have been really good lately. It’s loud and the ambiance is that of a no-frills local restaurant, but if you’re looking for an unpretentious place with great and affordable food, this is it.”

Karaoke Night, on Thursdays is a good way to have fun and show off your talent. Also on the weekends, are various bands. Come join the party.”

“Beautiful views with lots of outdoor seating. Next time we will know to bring our own snacks, but you truly cannot beat the view from the back patio. The tasting line was long when we arrived, but moved very quickly and the staff was extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend. We walked in with a group of 7 and had no issue finding somewhere to sit and relax.”

“We stopped in after saying good bye to a beautiful woman. We always like to visit local wineries and this one was great. Having a local winery just 6 miles from home where we live, today felt like we were at home. The staff were very friendly as were the patrons. We were fortunate enough to even hear some local musicians. We had a few glasses of white wine which was very tasty. Heard some great music from a band called Dawn to Dusk Trio, they were great. If we did not live a 10 hour drive or a 1.5 hour plane ride away we would visit more often.”

“My father & I both tried the wings, pulled pork sandwiches, and lemonade! Everything was absolutely delicious! The wings are smoked to perfection, and the meat just literally falls off the bone when you take a bite! The sauce has a wonderful flavor to it. Their pulled pork looks to be hand pulled, which is the best, because a lot of other places use shredded pork, and I don’t think it is as good! Theirs is also juicy and delicious! The lemonade is hand made and tastes just like what you would get at the fair! Overall the food is very good and fresh, we will definitely be going back!”

“My husband and I purchased opening night tickets to “The Christmas Carol” for our anniversary this year. We had an absolutely wonderful time, and look forward to attending more shows. The adaption of the play, music and vocals, and the character interaction was superb. We opted for the ham dinner and were not disappointed with that either. 10/10 highly recommended”

“10/7/2023: 10 of us from Canton Ohio walked to the “Water Street Bar” from our rental at 430 N. Broadway. It was a 1 minute walk to Water St. and another 1 minute walk down the St.. We had a great time at this little gem of a neighborhood bar, playing pool (2 tables). Very clean and spacious , lots of bar seats at the bar while watching pool. The owner Ernie, was generous buying us drinks and accommodating our various needs. Great place after a day of wineries. There was no food because they were only open 2 weeks after shut down from Covid but food was in their future. Friendly neighborhood bar, left a $100 Nike OSU jacket there that night and they had it waiting for us to comeback for it the next evening!”

“We stopped in at Max’s while on our travels and glad we did. Wonderful atmosphere, large menu, and very friendly staff. Highly recommend stopping here rather you live close or are traveling it is definitely a great experience!”

“The place to go after a night of drinking on the strip! Stays open late on weekends for the after bar crowd. Just a hodge podge of random items (sandwiches, fried foods, ice cream, drinks, etc).”

“Fun and friendly arcade bar. Got a beer and a $10 game card which lasted awhile. Not big but a good variety of games: pinball, skeeball, classics, claw machines, racing, shooters, game-show, etc.”

“The lobster lasagna was delicious! Very buttery and yummy. The cost is a little steep at $30 but it was worth it. The rest of the menu is very reasonably priced. The balsamic dressing is some of the best I've ever had. Service is a little slow. If you're thirsty, you might want you order 2 drinks at the same time. The lobster dip is great too. We love the old shooting game behind the bar. It still turns on after all these years.”

The baked goods are wonderful-I remember from a previous vacation! My only regret was that I only got to stop by here once during this year’s vacation!”
