“I ordered a gift card as a birthday present and there was a mix up (my end) in which they went over and above to correct for me. We don't live in Columbus but I can certainly see why my kids LOVE LawBird and their staff. We'll certainly make it a point to stop in on our next visit down.“

And with the recent closure of Mouton, where will non beer guzzling folks like myself go for a well thought out and in season cocktail, not a White Claw or PBR? Well this is the place. Don't come here expecting anything but the great menu of drinks with glassware, small bites, large tables and seating with bay windows for great conversation and vibes. Do not come here for loud broski chats or sorority shrill voice look at me tings. This is not the place for that and there are plenty of other places that appreciate that type of thing. “The bar was quaint yet comfortable for our group of 5. Came up from Toronto to see the Ohio/Nebraska game. Were an older group so didn’t want to be with the students. This place offered us the proper atmosphere. The bartender was very pleasant and knowledgeable. All was great till we viewed the invoice. A special charge appeared on our bill for $82. No idea what this was for so we questioned management and received a questionable response.
Would have been a good night but this left us with a sour taste“

“We attended a meeting with Katy Trombitas at the restaurant an hour before our reservation and stayed at the same table for dinner .. our bad for not letting the receptionist know that we were also on Open Table .. we had a great time and will definitely be back .. great seeing the students in action“

“A local pub with the same owners for over 30 years. Very friendly and easy to make friends. They are known for their subs. Also, has local bands and other events throughout the week. Great place to watch OSU football. If you have never been there, you are missing out on one of the best local bars in Columbus

“This is a safe friendly bar. Clean, beautiful atmosphere. Restrooms are very clean. The food is amazing. We got chicken tenders, loaded potatoe skins and pizza. Everything was delicious, reasonable prices. The bartender Jamie was friendly and her drinks were made perfect. The cook tonight Wednesday night did an amazing job with our food.

“Such an interesting concept and even more thoughtfully executed. It really is a unique little bar that is built around a fun atmosphere for guests. The staff is also extremely nice and knowledgeable. I got an alcoholic slushies and got to sit next to a porthole I'm not sure many people get to say that's something they've experienced in their life so on experience alone 5/5 and once you add in that the drink I had was also immaculate I wish I could rate them higher ☺️“

“For such a small bar, Black Brick offers a large selection of craft beers and high quality scotch, bourbon, gin, vodka, and rum. There are always tasty and creative seasonal drinks to try. The patio is connected to the bar by a large door so in the summer time they open the door and the bar is basically outside! Another bonus is that they dont allow any smoking on the patio because of that.“

“I am visiting from Boston and just happen to spontaneously tour the Ohio Statehouse. Here, I lunched at HouseTaco which locates inside the Statehouse itself. The food is quick and fresh. Chef Zach prepared the tacos on-site with passion. They were delicious! What a hidden gem!!!“

“We dined here for our 6 year anniversary dinner and could not have been happier with our choice. We were seated 15 minutes early for our 7pm reservation, and promptly given water. Our server Chandler was great. He took the time to explain the menu, specials and make recommendations for drinks. Throughout the evening he was very attentive and available, at the end of our meal he even boxed my leftovers and gave us a free dessert! I was more than impressed with the food. The rolls were soft and pillowy on the inside, but had a wonderfully crisp crust with just the right amount of salt. The tavern salad was truly refreshing too. The greens were crisp and fresh, the slightly sweet vinaigrette was perfectly mixed and the gorgonzola cheese was a fantastic compliment to it all. The beef stroganoff was absolutely divine. The sauce was one of the best I have ever had! The noodles were perfectly cooked and thick, there was plenty of tender beef and a generous amount of mushrooms. I came hungry and could only eat half of it too! I would order this over and over again! My fiancé ordered the porterhouse with asparagus and a side of scallops. He raved about the scallops all night! He said they were the best he has had, even better than a seafood restaurants'. He enjoyed his steak as well, which was cooked just to his liking and seasoned nicely. He almost started chewing the bone to get the last bits of meat off! He said the asparagus had a light lemon and salt flavor. To finish the meal we chose the crème brûlée. The crust was thick, the custard rich and the whole thing quite addictive. I would order it again for sure. Our meal, which had 2 cocktails too, came out to under $200 even with a 25% tip. We think it was certainty worth the price for the attentiveness of the staff and quality and flavors of the food we received. We are looking forward to coming back!“

“This restaurant is exceptional; my local friend has been hyping it up for years, but they’ve always been closed when I’m visiting Columbus. The staff were so kind, everything was easily made vegan, and the dishes were incredibly delicious. One of my omnivorous pals said the lasagna was how he always dreamed that dish should taste, but never does. I was relieved to hear this, since they switched the dairy cheese with cashew cheese. “This is my newest fav spot in Columbus. We first went for my bday with our two little kids. We were nervous at first bringing them, but felt welcome and they ADORED their dishes. It was, until Speck graciously brought my a mini ice cream cone for my bday when all hell broke loose ? we were SO close! My husband and I knew we wanted to come back....solo, for a date. We made it happen quickly and I again basked in the culinary experience. Servers are attentive, the ambiance is moody yet delightful, feeling as if you walked into a NY spot. We sat at the chef's counter, which was cool to watch the action.
Twice I for the Fungi Pasta Dish... I would eat it every night if I could. The server recommended a Pinot Noir to pair with it and oh my gosh, he was right. Those little moments is what sets restaurants a part. His knowledge for the dish, even though he said he didn't like mushrooms but knew the two paired together brilliantly was like YES!! THIS IS AMAZING!
Oh, the tuna Crudo dish??? I had to stop myself from being awkward and moaning out loud. I will be dreaming of that dish and counting till the next time we go again.

“This was our second visit to Revelry, and I was eager to return after enjoying such great food the first time. It truly is the best burger I’ve ever had. Tonight, we experienced fantastic food and outstanding customer service. We had several servers, all of whom were very friendly. When my phone fell between the booth and the wall, we alerted the staff, and the general manager came over to help right away. He brought out a few tools, including a broom and a utensil, to assist us in retrieving it. Thankfully, we got it out, and he was incredibly nice throughout the process. He continued to take care of us for the rest of the evening. Once again, the food was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend Revelry to anyone!“

Drinks-  collins angel hot latte 5/5 and a matcha latte (Collins angel version) 4/5

Food- egg sandwich w/ bacon- soft bread,  thick bacon,  moist. 5/5 and vermonter- turkey apple and cheese pastry. 4/5 flaky,  good filling.  Not the biggest fan of the sesame seeds.

Overall clean,  cute,  great music/ vibes. A bit pricey, paid $23 for a pastry and drink. But I look forward to returning and exploring the wine/ bar and live music & after work ambiance.“

“We ordered the chicken and waffles, a Baileys Irish coffee, and a side of bacon. The waffle was amazing the only thing was it may have been maybe sitting under a light for a while becuase there was a portion of it that was crispy like chips, I didn't care for that at all. The coffee was lukewarm, and my bacon was overcooked. But the reason i gave them 5 stars is because the service was SUPERB! We were visiting and didn't know of any places to go so we asked the waitress and they took their time and gave us a list of a couple places we could visit in the city and to me that in itself was awesome. Also the waitress removed the overcooked bacon and the lukewarm coffee from my tab, when she noticed that I didn't eat it, without me even having to ask, although I wouldn't have, I would've just paid for it. This place was clean and it was absolutely, for us, worth it.“
