“I cannot recommend Porchlight enough! I have become a frequent flyer— no seriously— twice a dad visits. I love the convenience of their online ordering in the morning and their great cafe space for lunch. There is no wrong answer when it comes to their variety of flavors for your lattes. Truly a skillfully crafted coffee menu along with flavor-packed food options. My absolute favorite menu item is their harvest Cobb salad. I CAN’T GET ENOUGH! Dried cranberries, grilled chicken, feta (I think), walnuts, topped with the to-die-for maple vinaigrette on a bed of lettuce. Seriously, there is NO reason NOT to go to Porchlight. Cheers!”

“We are from out of town and decided to try something new so we stopped at Another Broken Egg Cafe and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was great, food was so delicious and the service we received from Daria and Bre was great. Highly recommend this cafe! We had the Apple Fritter French toast and Shrimp and Grits.”

“My brother and I made plans to come stop by for their matcha lattes since we heard they had some of the best around. What we failed to do was actually LOOK at their operating hours and came past closing. 😅 Our faults, but they noticed us and let us in to make us drinks anyway. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be back DURING opening hours next time... as we both loved our matcha lattes. “Y'know, the older I get,the more of a pizza snob I'm becoming. A really good sausage pizza was becoming ridiculously hard to find. Until.today. I can remember my older bro and his wife ordering from Regina's when I was a kid 50 years ago. There's a reason they're a legend. This pizza was outstanding. Wonderful, soft crust, great amount of sauce and sausage that was cooked to perfection. Jojos had a peculiar smoke taste, like baked potatoes cooked over a campfire. Fantastic food. “I will be honest, I haven’t eaten there yet but just had the greatest experience that restored my faith in humanity just a little bit. I was in the Akron area for training with TNVC and I assume my iPad was stolen. Today it pinged at someone’s house and then it pinged in the parking lot of the Basement a few hours after I locked it and left a message for the would be thief. I called and spoke with Stephanie, and after explaining what had happened she was king enough to walk to the parking lot while I pinged it. The thief had dumped my iPad in the dumpster, thankfully not too deep. I just wanted to say that Stephanie was amazing for being such a good person and helping someone with no expectation of receiving anything in return. Next time my family and I are in the Akron/waterloo area I will make sure I patronize The Basement if only to help repay a bit of the kindness shown! This is how a neighborhood restaurant does it!”

“Definitely my new favorite Pizza joint. The Jojo's are on point too. They are always busy and i know why. Of course nobody wants to pay more, but i personally dont think the price is overkill. Its not Dominos cardboard for $7 a pie”
