This restaurant has a nice menu- plenty of meals and combinations to choose from. The service was great. The food was very good - typical for this type of restaurant. The salsa that comes with the basket of chips was tasty and thick enough that it didn't fall off the chips as you ate them. Great atmosphere, but I wish the chairs were a bit more comfortable. We visited El Carreton in Greenville, Ohio today for a yearly luncheon with my husband's high school graduation class of 1969. What a fantastic choice of restaurants! I liked El Carreton from first look. The decor was simple but very welcoming. I also enjoyed that the piped-in music was Mexican, which added to the atmosphere.From the start, the staff was very friendly and energetic.
