“We stopped in after seeing someone post about a new appetizer. So we stopped into the Stringtown Rd. location. The food was all delicious (was pleasantly surprised) our server was great and personable. The restaurant seemed short staffed but was able to get food out in a reasonable time frame. We will definitely come back.“

We drove 45 minutes to get here and was lied to not once but 2 times after waiting for a table for 30 minutes. Not going into all the details but i will NOT be back I'll drive over an hour to go somewhere else or another location next time. Our rating will be a negative stars if that was possible“

“Five stars aren’t enough. An experience I can only describe as spiritual. The staff didn’t just serve drinks, they served purpose. And Danny? A mix between a saint, a bar back, and a life coach. Gentle, lively, and slightly too good at his job. I’m a changed man.“

“We were a party of 7. I booked online to make it easy and they could expect us. As expected when we arrived we were immediacy seated ( Saturday 4:30 reservation) Service was great. Food was great. We alerted server of a food allergy her and the rest of the kitchen team went out of their way to clean out the fryer and put in fresh oil so that my niece could have french fries. This was super thoughtful. When we went, it was not super busy, but it did pick up quickly and get loud in the restaurant - though it is a sports bar, - it DOES carry restaurant quality, and I would most definitely recommend. Our servers name was Aryanna- she was top notch!!!“

“We are from out of town and needed to feed 16 people after our original plan fell through. I called and spoke to Jeremy and he was quick to accommodate. I have to say the service was impeccable and so was the food. Every one of our orders was perfectly prepared and delicious. Our server ( I’m sorry i don’t remember her name, but I’m sure she knows who we are talking about) was amazing and professional and never missed a beat! I would highly recommend this establishment !! “I was visiting Columbus, Ohio and wanted a fun vibe, and Bernard’s Tavern delivered. The music was great and the food delicious. We shared the taquitos, the Cajun pasta, and the deep dish cookie dessert, all of which were amazing. I will definitely come back next time I am in town.“

“We came here for a watch party that was advertised by the Columbus Blue Jackets. It was awesome! Sharon was our server, and she was very attentive throughout the evening. The food was good. I had the gyro and my partner had the chicken sandwich with hot honey. Both were delicious.

The restaurant is very nice and has the biggest TV’s I’ve seen in a sports bar. Aside from the bar, there are also kiosks/teller area for those who wish to place bets on the games.

The watch party was also well organized and fun. They had a raffle and the arena host from the Blue Jackets was walking around making sure everyone had a good time. The goal patrol was also around, along with a former player who was signing items and taking photos.

Highly recommend attending a watch party. Even when hockey isn’t in season, this is an awesome place to spot in to watch a game or grab a bite to eat!“

“If you’re looking for some of the best wings in Columbus, look no further. Found this place online after a quick search for wings. The wings were so good, I actually went back a second time in less than a week. The vibes were typical bar vibes, the service was better the second visit but the food was great both times. We tried the Mac n Cheese, wasn’t bad at all but nothing that I’d order again. The wings are what I went for and I’d recommend those as a 10/10!“

We did have one experience where the service was very poor, which was frustrating, but I decided to give them another try. “The hospitality we were shown this weekend was unmatched. It was a cold evening and we were wanting to feed our 6 and 8 year olds before going to a concert. The wait was well over an hour and half for a table. The staff and owner not only gave my children free drinks but they found us a spot out of the way so my children could eat pizza without waiting. “Had a date night this evening in Grandview and decided to stop by for couple drinks. We had a blast sitting at the bar striking conversations with the wonderful Saturday night bartender. Seems to be a great asset to the Derby team!“

“My wife and I came here for Blackbird Burrito which the food is incredible for the price. Fresh as fresh can be and the burrito was fully loaded like Chipotle used to be.

What surprised me is I went to the bar and ordered a Guinness. I then watched in absolute joy that they knew how to pour a proper Guinness. As they say it was an absolute creamer. 9/10 Guinness pour. I only deduct a point because it was in a standard pint glass and not a Guinness glass.“

“Stopped in on our way home. At first we thought we were in the wrong place. We walked in and got a table. Took a few for someone to come over. We asked for a menu the waitress said the grill was off so they could do wings, tenders French fries or pizza. We ordered tenders and fries. The food came out fast and was delicious. The hand cut fries were the best I’ve had in a long time.“
