“Greeted at the door by a very sweet lady who showed us great kindness as i took my mother to lunch today. The tomato soup was absolutely amazing, naan bread amazing and butter chicken AMAZING and the fact they gave us water in a copper pitcher was POWERFUL because copper alkalines water if you know the science behind that. Very pleased with the service and the food.

“There is a lot of average Indian food out there but Rooh is on another level. It is one that we have only experience at restaurants like Deshoom in London. The hostess was so wonderful her personality is the best way to walk into a restaurant. The wait staff was perfection and unlike so many restaurants nowadays the pacing of the 3 course meal for restaurant week was perfection. Each course more tasty and beautifully prepared than the next. We don’t come to Columbus often but I would consider coming back just to eat here, and we will for sure be back next time we are in town. I just wish we would have Indian food this good anywhere near where we live. This place is a gem.“

But things are back to working like clockwork now - food is flavorful and plentiful, particularly the amazingly priced combo platters. “They are willing to accommodate the spice level of the dish if you want it spicier and experience more flavors. Most Asian restaurants I been to serve “American spicy” level dishes which in term for me taste as bland as mash potatoes and black pepper gravy. If yall want to expand your tastebuds take my advice.“
