“There is a lot of average Indian food out there but Rooh is on another level. It is one that we have only experience at restaurants like Deshoom in London. The hostess was so wonderful her personality is the best way to walk into a restaurant. The wait staff was perfection and unlike so many restaurants nowadays the pacing of the 3 course meal for restaurant week was perfection. Each course more tasty and beautifully prepared than the next. We don’t come to Columbus often but I would consider coming back just to eat here, and we will for sure be back next time we are in town. I just wish we would have Indian food this good anywhere near where we live. This place is a gem.“

“This was our first time eating here and it was amazing. Once inside it is clean and inviting. The server was friendly snd helpful. Everything we ordered came to the table piping hot and somehow stayed that way the whole meal. We have zero complaints about the food or the service. While we ate, there was a revolving door of take away orders being picked up. The prices were more than fair and we had plenty to take home for another meal. Highly recommend to anyone who likes Nepalese food or is looking for a new locally owned restaurant to try. We see ourselves coming back here again.“

“They are willing to accommodate the spice level of the dish if you want it spicier and experience more flavors. Most Asian restaurants I been to serve “American spicy” level dishes which in term for me taste as bland as mash potatoes and black pepper gravy. If yall want to expand your tastebuds take my advice.“

“A lot of places don't pay attention to special requests, but this one does. I got the Saffron Special Pack with goat tikka masala and vegetable samosas, it also came with naan, basmati rice, and a drink--amazing value and a lot of food for the price $. I asked for extra spicy and they made sure it was extra spicy! Delicious wholesome food with plenty of meat, whole spices and fresh vegetables. When you pick up, you need to ring BOTH doorbells: the small one that says Saffron, and the big one that allows them to see who's at the door. This was new to me but they called me and explained over the phone and he was very nice about it. Impressive quality and prices, I will be back here again!“

The palak paneer was grilled before being cooked in spinach, and it added extra depth to the flavor. The butter chicken was prepared using very high quality meat that tasted specially grilled in a tandoor before it was cooked in the yummy spices! Such attention to detail with the cooking. He was really nice about it too. The food was fresh and extremely tasty. “I was a little surprised to see some lower ratings for the food, but my experience was completely different. The food was outstanding and exceeded my expectations.

We started with the Churn 65 appetizer (dry version) and the fish appetizer, both of which were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The chicken biryani was another highlight—aromatic, well-seasoned, and very satisfying. To finish the meal, I enjoyed a cup of their house chai tea, which was the perfect ending.

Service was fast and attentive. Our server greeted us immediately, and both our drinks and food arrived quickly. The restaurant isn’t very large, but when we visited on a weekday, it wasn’t crowded, making for a comfortable dining experience.

The restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the menu offers a wide variety of dishes, so there’s something for everyone. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a flavorful Indian meal.“
