“We were across the road at a hotel for a work trip and found Makkah Restaurant. I ordered for pickup through doordash which is a great option. I’m from rural Ky and don’t know how to pronounce things but I want to try it all.

Everything we tried was delicious! I’m surprised they weren’t busier but it might have just been a slow time. If I lived in the area I’d be back all the time. The prices were good and everything was hot and fresh, and packaged very carefully to prevent accidents during travel. We tried the chicken biryani, butter chicken, achar, tandoori naan, chai, and Kashmiri chai (around 35 for everything). The butter chicken doesn’t come with rice but I knew that from reading other reviews so we had a side order of biryani. We definitely over ordered but now we have dinner for after work tomorrow. Definitely give this place a try!“

“Amazing Food and Amazing owners. I ordered Nihari and Seekh Kabab and was 45 mins late but the owner kept the shop running and understood that it was out of my control. He was really nice about it too. The food was fresh and extremely tasty. I Dont live in Columbus but will definitely find reasons to go back because I wanna order more things and try them out as well!“

“This place is very good and better than three other Indian restaurants on High St. They have very good prices. I eat Biriyani very often and it’s pretty good. I must say that if you can’t handle spicy, then ask for no spicy. Medium is quite spicy.“

“I visited this restaurant yesterday with some friends. The ambience and cleanliness was perfect. We ordered Nihari and paye. The food was no doubt delicious but the most amazing thing was their naans (soft bread). I don't think I ever tasted such crisp, soft and delicious naans anywhere. The owner/proprietor was extraordinarily courteous and service oriented.“
