“This post is not about the food (Although, it was great, as always - Especially the potato soup!)! Instead, we would like to compliment you on one of your managers, Dan (Xenia). From afar today we witnessed an irate customer storming out of the restaurant, and Dan unknowingly, just simply said something to the effect of have a good day. The gentleman turned around and was cussing with his finger in Dan‘s face - just totally inappropriate. Being in the customer service field for several years, as a supervisor or manager, you always want to try to fix the problem, but there are times, as today, the best thing you can do is let the situation diffuse. As angry as he was, the situation could have become dangerous. As the man ranted and raved, Dan remained calm, cool, and collected! We are thankful for his wisdom in understanding how to handle a difficult situation! Thank you again to Dan and his wonderful bosses who knew who to put in charge! “I had car issues on Route 32 and had to push my vehicle off the highway into the Country Inn parking lot. After waiting for a few hours for the tow truck, I went inside to warm up. The staff was incredibly kind and even allowed me to stay after closing while I continued waiting for AAA. Their hospitality was truly above and beyond.
