We live in Ashland KY, but we always stop in every time we're passing through. My husband always gets breakfast and I always get chicken livers. They are the best especially when you dip them in brown gravy. Everyone is always so friendly. Such a nice little place.
I had car issues on Route 32 and had to push my vehicle off the highway into the Country Inn parking lot. After waiting for a few hours for the tow truck, I went inside to warm up. The staff was incredibly kind and even allowed me to stay after closing while I continued waiting for AAA. Their hospitality was truly above and beyond. Also, the Country Slammer was outstanding—highly recommend trying it. Thanks again for everything!

I had the grilled chicken with green beans and hashbrown casserole. It was spectacular.

The Country Inn Restaurant offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with friendly servers and a clean environment. While some menu items have undergone changes, the food is generally great, with standout dishes like the Country Slammer. The restaurant features plenty of parking, wheelchair accessibility, and a kid-friendly vibe, making it a popular spot for breakfast and dinner. The staff is known for their exceptional hospitality, going above and beyond to accommodate guests, even allowing one customer to wait for a tow truck after closing. The restaurant is particularly praised for its hard-to-find chicken livers, a local favorite. Overall, the Country Inn Restaurant provides a pleasant dining experience in a charming country setting.
