I also tried the new chicken bacon ranch loaded nacho fries, and they were really good—possibly even better than the steak version they had before. The service was friendly and quick, which made the visit even better.”

“We live in Ashland KY, but we always stop in every time we're passing through. My husband always gets breakfast and I always get chicken livers. They are the best especially when you dip them in brown gravy. Everyone is always so friendly. Such a nice little place.”

“We go to Los Compadres all the time and would 100% recommend it to locals and out-of-towners alike. Our usual order is tacos (carne asada or pastor), Mexican guacamole, quesadillas, or the fajita salad. Margaritas are always on point and even their small is a good pour. Chips and salsa come right to the table and the service is quick, friendly, and welcoming for families. And the horchata is AMAZING. Truly top tier. In my opinion, this is the best and most authentic Mexican food in southern Ohio, which says a lot since I was born and raised in Los Angeles. 🌮🍹💛”

The softball and baseball fields being packed with teams and families gives the place an awesome hometown vibe during the season, and the Saturday cornhole nights are always a blast. It’s more than just a bar and grill — it’s a community spot where everybody knows everybody.

Grant and Missy have done an awesome job as the new owners. You can tell they genuinely care about the place, the customers, and keeping that small-town atmosphere alive while continuing to improve things. They’ve really made The Stik a place people enjoy coming back to week after week.

And if you haven’t tried the desserts yet, you’re missing out. Cold draft beer and a loaded ice cream sundae is a dangerous combo. 🍻🍨”
