A party of 5 and we came in an hour before closing. Our apologies...4 of us were driving in from out of town. Staff was very friendly, polite and so understanding. Our God was served swift and everything was prepared fresh. We all enjoyed our meals and warm beverages as we chatted and visited. I asked for the gluten free menu and was told they had none, but they had one 6 weeks ago when I was here. The host sat us in the empty restaurant and the server came over to us and said, “What do you want?” No small talk or pleasantries of greeting. Never did he ask how the food was; rather, brought me the bill and we left moments later. I considered leaving no tip, but I’m not that person and am assuming it was an off day. We go to numerous Bob Evans around the West side of Columbus and this was one of the better experiences. I like going to places where I can spend quality time with my daughter and this was perfect. It was really quiet and the atmosphere was pleasant. Our waitress met every request with a smile, she was prompt, and our food came quickly.
