“Love this little mom and pop place! Set right in the middle of downtown Hilliard, ohio, its a great place to eat and very welcoming. The staff make you feel like they know who you are from the moment you sit down, and are always willing to do what they can to help make the most of your experience w them! Would highly recommend!“
“I can't believe that I have never reviewed Tommy's Diner before. It ranks among my favorite restaurants, as it has for close to twenty years. Tommy's has outstanding food, mostly in the comfort variety. The chicken piccata is a house specialty, the Brussels-style Belgian waffle is certainly among the best in town. Although really not necessary, they will add chopped pecans if requested. The menu is vast, and there's at least 6 daily rotating specials. Lots of fresh pies are available if you have room after the generous portions. The best part of Tommy's is the staff and owners. Michael, the current owner, is the son of Tommy, the founder and namesake. Tommy can still be found there, running the front of house, schmoozing with his legion of admirers. Regulars include workers of all sorts, politicians, police, bikers, small business owners and many retirees, like me. Guests come from every neighborhood and every walk of life. In every poll of central Ohio restaurant customers, Tommy's is either the top diner, or right near the top. It's authentic, satisfying and worthy of a try if you haven't been there.“
“Here, I thought this was just another american diner. I just wanted something local to eat. I wasn't expecting the mexican american cuban combo. Seriously, french toast bites, a breakfast burrito, and plantains! They put real fruit on the french toast. I love it. The place was packed, and it should be. I drive truck, and out of the many places I've been around the country, this diner is a real gem. Great food. Nice people.“
“Nice little spot for dinner. The bartender recommended the meatloaf. (I was dining at the bar). It is BIG... and delicious.Entrees are 20-30, and the Manhattan is pretty darn good!Mike and Wyatt do a terrific job of taking care of the bar.I'll be back.I will definitely be back.“
“DK is an old faithful and is the perfect place to come for post night shift breakfast because they have drinks. Came here with a large group (8 people) right when they opened which is tricky since it's a smaller space. They were very accommodating and didn't appear annoyed by our group. I got their new breakfast tacos without the bacon and they were super good! The salsa it comes with makes it 10x better. I also tried the French kiss (gin, grenadine, citrus drink) and it was strong on the citrus/gin front which I loved. Got a sour cream and blueberry donut to go. Their donuts are excellent. I preferred the blueberry one since the flavor is so prominent without being cloyingly sweet.“
“Favorite breakfast and lunch local diner in the area. I was impressed enough to order two (2) entrees to eat one after another. The decorations and atmosphere are themed as traditional American rock n roll and pop culture cafe.Parking: Plenty of parking. I'm not sure over-the-road tractor-trailers could park easily, but certainly a few bob-tails can without crowding out the 4-wheelers.“
“I had a burger, chili, and milkshake. The burger was made fresh to order and tasted amazing. The Chili was honestly the best I've ever had from a restaurant. The shake used hand dipped ice cream so it was rich and delicious. Couldn't recommend this place enough!“
“brought the wife and 2 kids (5 and 9) here just to try something new. Staff was helpful and very kind. Food blew my expectations out of the water. humus was the best I've ever had. Ambiance was nice with the low lighting and authentic music. Will be back for sure!“
“This was the best deli I ever had in Columbus, hands down...... This was amazing and fresh, and the service was amazing. So I want everyone to know this place is the truth and you won't be disappointed....The price is another subject , because how can you get a meal for so cheap and so good. Turkey bacon sub w fresh cut fries and a side of pasta salad 8.10 ...Glad I found this place .“
“Good food at reasonable prices. The service is always fast. Staff is always very friendly. One of my favorite places for breakfast.Vegetarian options: Although they do have several items on the menu for vegetarians, they are good about substituting.Parking: Although they have large shared parking lot, at times when the restaurant is full, parking can be more difficult. Handicap parking for the center is limited.“
“We intended to have outdoor seating, but with the weather starting to turn, the host staff immediately got us sat at an indoor booth as we arrived. All the food was good and the gluten free menu was all great. Service took longer than expected so our waitress comped our dessert for us.Overall a great experience and we will definitely be coming here again in the future.Dietary restrictions: They have a full gluten free menu and they bring gluten free bread to the table as well.“
“Move to the area and stopped to grab lunch. Love the environment, food, and staff. Excited to come back and grab their breakfast but this time it was the gyro which was super yummy. The Lemon Meringue pie is house made and is AMAZING. Perfection. I would come here just for the pie alone. Stephanie was amazing and super nice. Loved the owner. I look forward to weekly breakfast and mimosas.“
“Lady at the front was especially nice. I never had it before but I will definitely be coming back! This restaurant should be a 5 star because everything about it is incredible and exactly what I was looking for!!!Kid-friendliness: they love kids“
“The vegetarian omelette was the best I've ever had. It was very fluffy and cooked to perfection. The veggies were packed with flavor. The dish came with toast and potatoes. The potatoes were also exceptionally delicious as well. They were crispy and weren't overly oily. Our server, Will, was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend.“
