“🌿 Hillgarten Brewery – Hilliard’s Hidden Gem 🌿7.6 out of 10! What a beautiful surprise tucked away in Hilliard! Hillgarten’s expansive outdoor space was hands down the highlight of the night. With wide-open seating, tree-covered areas, and cozy hanging lights, the vibe was equal parts romantic and relaxed. 💫 The beer selection? Exactly what you want in a neighborhood brewery—a perfect variety of drinkable, staple brews that suit all tastes. On a hot summer evening though, I would’ve loved to see a frosted glass option—the beer warmed up a little too fast for my liking. We ordered the giant pretzel, which definitely delivered on size! The beer cheese was decent, but we were hoping for a bit more creativity or a “mystery dip” option to spice it up. Also… just give us one good cup of cheese with it instead of making everyone upgrade for a second portion. Small thing, but it stood out. As the sun set, the whole place started to feel like something out of a movie. Couples celebrating engagements, friends laughing over cornhole in the corner, and a casual, easy energy. The only thing missing? Some live music, especially for a Saturday night. 🎶 We found ourselves lost in conversation… time honestly stood still. It felt both lively and private, which is a rare combo these days. If I had one other piece of feedback, it’d be for a slightly bigger food menu and maybe a kiddo cut-off time around 7 PM, just so the evening crowd can fully settle into adult mode. “I took my 22-year-old son to the meadery for his birthday. Not only did we get special tastings we got the history and knowledge of how this small business came to be. Our bartender was incredibly knowledgeable, had a very inviting personality and to top it all off he makes amazing mead!!! Be careful everyone it's got more alcohol content than I'm used to and it's crap up on me pretty quick LOL!!!!“

“The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was so cozy, comfy, and just really nice. The atmosphere alone would make me want to try this place again. They vary the menu a lot I see with lots of fun offerings, but I think it would be nice to keep a couple more staple items on the menu. I would have really liked some sort of salad with my meal or maybe a French onion soup and they did not have any soups or salads. Espresso martinis were really great! I got a pasta dish. Loved all the components of it, but do feel the sauce felt unfinished. The sourdough toast app was great. My wife got the pork with collards and grits. Would have been great if the pork was cooked more. The grits and greens were great, but texture of the pork made us cringe. I know not fully cooked pork is more common these days, but typically we’re asked how we want it cooked and it was an after thought to mention we wanted it fully cooked. We now know for next time! Free dessert was provided for our anniversary and that was really nice!“

“Upper class Indian restaurant with classic dishes as well as interesting creations. You can tell that whoever is in charge is passionate about what they do.

There are so many things here that I would like to try, especially their desserts.

“We had a 630 reservation and valentine's day and we're not seated until 7. The lobby was jammed with people waiting to be seated but had no where else to go. We also stood and watched as multiple people that got to the restaurant after us, were seating before us. We also were not compensated for anything.“

Extremely tasty with the right balance of crumbles and b’fflo sauce. Great w/seasoned fries or house chips. Make sure to have a pint of the Kroenburg 1664 pints to wash it down. “While shooting a segment for the show Out n About Columbus, the owner Colin and the chef Marja took us through a gastronomic journey that left every one of the crew dumbstruck from the flavor and creativity in the dishes that were offered to us today! If you have the opportunity to dine at this incredible establishment, don't walk... RUN in the door! Don't ask for a menu! Let the staff take you on a culinary adventure! You definitely will not regret the decision, not one bit!“

“Windward Passage was a fantastic experience!! Our server Emma was top notch! We loved the nautical theme. We visited to (silently) celebrate my birthday. I had the Oysters on the half shell (large plump, meaty, not gritty), King Crab legs (sweet, firm), Lobster tail (South African, cold water tail - large, plump, sweet, tender, juicy), Clam chowder (average, but good). My partner (not the seafoodie) opted for chicken fingers and fries. We loved the casual (not posh/stuffy) vibe. Emma was on top of EVERYTHING even having a few other table near us. She was not pushy in regard to time or up-selling. All of our requests were fulfilled. The dinner from course to course was timed perfectly. Winward Passage even provided a couple elements we haven't experienced in quite a while.“

“My husband & I had the privilege of dining at Z Cucina in Dublin on Valentine’s Day. The concierge’s at the front were wonderful, and our most pleasant experience was not only they food, but our wonderful waiter, Benjamin. He is such a great host at one’s table, but has an expert knowledge of the menu. I will request him again!“

“Update: Although this is a nice place with a quaint interior vibe, the price of wine is now exorbitantly priced. We’re not penny-pinchers, but we typically do at least a bottle, so it makes sense to go to other better alternatives in the same area. Additionally, my favorite crab cake appetizer was down-sized and is just a little disappointing. Service is not consistent. My original review is below:

Cute winery atmosphere with great food and service. The crab cake appetizer is recommended. It’s garnished with corn, which is a bit odd, so maybe leave that off. Great selection of wines, of course. There’s patio seating along Lane Ave when the weather is nice and convenient parking in the rear.“
