A few good experiences... a few bad experiences. Poor food, service, cleanliness. I was told the franchise was up for sale in 2024 but don't know any further details except if it sold, it didn't improve.
I walked in at 5:40pm and placed an order for 2 " POT ROAST SANDWICHES" to go. when I asked the lady how long her reply was " 10-15 mins tops" . I was good with that I even tip the girl $5.00 . I waited exactly 1/2 hours. that is simply "UNACCEPTABLE" ESPECIALLY when they only had 3-5 People in the restaurant eating. They had 5-6 standing at the front counter when I walked in. Every single time we order to go, our order is messed up. Today we placed an order for carry-out and we arrived an hour after we placed the order (according to the pick up time) and they told us upon arrival that they were out of chicken and noodles. They had plenty of time to call and let us know so we could have made other plans instead of having to wait on an alternate dish to be made. Bob Evans is a clean restaurant with friendly and caring servers. Although they may be understaffed, the staff handles the workload well and service was outstanding. The food is good and served quickly. The breakfast menu is particularly impressive, with the Homestead Farmer Breakfast being a favorite among customers. The restaurant also offers a variety of other dishes, including the Cod Dinner. The staff is pleasant and helpful and will make it right if there is an issue.
