This was a drive for us coming an hour and a half! But it did not disappoint! The food on the buffet was fresh and hot! Not like normal buffets where the food has a film. Not here. Our server was very nice. It was very nostalgic and we will be making the trip again!!
Buffet was ok, nice selection of home style food. Prime rib not so great. Guessing they premake make a bunch, refrigerate it and toss it on the grill for a second when ordered. Barely warm, pretty tasteless.
Grew up eating at Ponderosa so it was a bit of a nostalgia meal for me because I'm not from the area. If I was hungry and in Hillsboro, I'd certainly eat here again but skip the prime rib.

Really missed in Dayton, this was one busy location ,friendly atmosphere, we had to wait to be seated, but well worth the trip. food was great ,service excellent ,we will definitely stop back in.
