Been coming for decades. Love the dim sum and the Chinese chinese menu (best chinese in town) . The American chinese is bland (I avoid these) . If you know this and order accordingly you are good. However the restaurant is closing around the 21st. Rent is too high. They may be too crestfallen to nock it out of the park. Other reviews show this. This review is a send off of one of my favorite places. Thank you for years of service.

Unfortunately the dim sum is not as good as it used to be. I will say this though it's better than not having any dim sum at

Going downhill. Crispy beef was very tough. Used to get extra plates. Used to get hot tea. Used to use ceramic serving dishes, I was served on melamine. Watered down hot mustard. Won’t go back.

The wontons or dumplings have nothing inside. They are just made of flour. The boss said they focus on doing business with Americans. They (Americans)don't like to eat wontons or dumplings with meat inside. What a ridiculous excuse and racist. They Just want to lower the cost. This kind of business can't last long. Won't go again.
The restaurant only had 2 or 3 tables in the front that were occupied but they chose to sit us in the back next to a bunch of junk that looked like storage by the kitchen. It took forever for everything to where one of my co-workers started walking to the waiter when we needed something. Over 20 minutes to get the dim sum menu, another 20 before she walked the menu back to them, forever before the food came out, the food was mediocre AND had a hair in it.I will not be back.

Do you like eating at restaurants where it feels like you’re a bother rather than a customer? Social hall home food totally disorganized, filthy, looking dining area. This place should be closed down by the health department if you’re thinking about eating here think again runaway.
We ordered wonton soup, the wontons do not have meat in them, we ordered dumplings and the dumplings do not have meat in them, we ordered crab rangoon I've had better, there is a lady that works there who just stands and stares at you the whole time which makes it kind of uncomfortable, I ordered the sweet-and-sour pork that was good and my husband ordered the beef and broccoli and he said that was good, we ordered the fried rice and it is just rice that is stained Brown there's no egg there's no vegetable there's nothing else in it, it is just rice and it's kind of not very good, our server on the other hand was great he was also the only one that was serving, b&b long t is very very very watered-down they don't let the tea steep long enough it just is very watery, this was our first time going there we actually wanted to go there to get some dim sum but they don't serve that after 4 is what I was told so.We will probably just drive back to Michigan to the restaurant where we found dim sum and probably won't go back here again.

Ordered takeout to be delivered to a hotel. Specifically asked for plastic silverware. Left a nice tip for the driver. Opened the order and no silverware. How am I supposed to eat this? How sloppy!

I would give them zero stars, but it doesn’t go that low, food was nasty, atmosphere was like it hadn’t been updated or cleaned since they opened, especially outside. No one greeted me, picked up a take out order, just not a pleasant experience all around, very stale.-Fried rice was bland, no flavor.-Chicken Lo Mein was oily and tasted like nasty seafood, which caught me off guard bc it was chicken(used tiny ramen like noodles with no veggies).-Sweet and sour chicken was ok, could use more fresh veggies, pineapple you could tell came from a stale can.-Egg rolls were not fresh, not good.-Wonton soup the noodle part was extremely thick, couldn’t taste any filling and broth was extremely salty couldn’t even eat it, it got tossed.Don’t waste your money, take it elsewhere. I was highly disappointed in my experience with this place as it was my go to place years ago. It has definitely gone down hill.
Place has awesome din sum and even pho !Everything was hot and fresh, very many options and it was all quality ! Would definitely recommend to anyone !Small place but flavor was enormous
The wonton soup was lackluster, no filling in the wontons. As far as the rest of our meals they were average. I won't come back. If you want amazing Chinese food go to Hot Sizzling Wok on Lasky you will not be disappointed
The guy who took orders was super friendly and honestly great to talk too. The food was a little under seasoned. It wasn't bad, but the flavors were just weak.
