“After having covered almost 40km by bike... at 20.00.. a few meters from the bike delivery, reading the reviews, we chose this restaurant. If the reviews were decidedly good, inside a magical atmosphere. Impeccable Service and attention of the waiters. Prices as high as the quality that the place reserves. A restaurant for a busy dinner that leaves no doubt to the evening... will be great.“

“Came here for the .50 cent wing Wednesday. Smashed on wings of course, but also did the bologna sandwich. It was as good as the reviews said. Friend had the egg and pepper sandwich, and that was good also. Fries were good. Solid place for good food and drinks.“

So dang good , couldn’t find anyone here in the Mahoning valley to do wings right until we thought we’d give you guys a try on New Year’s Eve and wow, the best wings I’ve had in a very very long time. “We recently hosted a surprise party at Hackett's and it was absolutely wonderful! The owner Danny & his team were all very accommodating and helpful in the whole process! The bartender was a rockstar and the managers/staff were so nice! The outdoor patio is beautiful. And the bar has good food & cold beer! What more could you ask for! We will definitely be back to relax & enjoy a football game in the near future!“

“Good drinks, good food and good company... well, except for Larry, he's not very good company. Gorilla Burger is my go too, but I love everything else as well. Gorilla Breakfast in the AM is also unbeatable. Oh and the Ruben, the meatloaf, chili, pizza, steak sandwich, fish and the chips. Lamb sandwich, almost forgot that. My favorite usual place. “I wasn’t planning on spending several hours at The Federal tonight, but life had other ideas.

I had just gotten out of a difficult situation, was waiting for an overnight bus, and my phone was almost dead. Justin, the manager, didn’t know me from Adam, but he handed me a charger and gave me a place to sit and recharge—both my phone and myself.

Over the next few hours I watched this place go from quiet to absolutely packed. The staff kept things moving, the atmosphere was welcoming, and everyone seemed to be having a great time.

It’s easy to judge a business by the food or drinks. I judge places by how they treat people, especially when they don’t have to. Justin and his team showed genuine kindness without expecting anything in return.

If you’re looking for a place with great energy, good people, and management that genuinely cares, The Federal has earned my recommendation. Thank you for helping a stranger on a day I’ll never forget!“

“Love the food, family has gone here for years but the past several times the service has been poor, different waitresses were so unfriendly, almost acting pissed we were there, never came back to fill drinks and we were nice, it's becoming a common theme, so disappointed. What's up with this, Bogey's?“

“I called for a to a to go order. The server that took my order was very helpful and professional. When I got home the wings were incorrect. When I called they immediately said give them 20 minutes and they would deliver the correct order. ?????.“

“Cool place! Great lamb tips & the flattened Italian steak sandwich was also delicious! The only thing that id say negative is there's a lot of tables inside and outside so u have to do a lot of weaving in n out to get into the building and to the restrooms.“
