When we make a trip to DC, we try to block out a slot to dine at the 25+ year old Capital Grille either for lunch or for dinner. Yes, it is on the pricey side, but you will not leave disappointed. Upon entering during a very warm day, the hostesses offered to get us a taxi for the return trip. So nice and they did make the call and set up the driver...thank you so much! We have an excellent lunch. My daughter and I had the mini tenderloin sandwiches with fries. The tenderloin was cooked to perfection. My wife had roasted chicken and hers was prepared perfectly too. I also added the lobster bisque. It had small pieces of lobster and was the best bisque that I have ever had. The service was excellent. The atmosphere is very relaxing and I would not hesitate to come back here the next time we are in DC.
