“I found the Gentry online and chose them to be our wedding caterer having never heard of them before. And we were truly blessed beyond words by Marybeth (the owner) and her staff! Guests at the wedding said it was the best wedding food they’d ever had! Marybeth went above and beyond for us and we have truly made a lifelong friend of her. She is wonderful, the food is wonderful and we are just so grateful! I highly recommend the gentry for any event!“

“First time trying BYOB out today, made reservations, got seated immediately, food was great. We got the banana fosters french toast, chicken sausage, seasoned potatoes, loaded potato bowl, shrimp and grits & mimosas (pink panther was really good). It was really cold in there but they’re moving soon so hopefully that will change. Other than that, we will be back!“

“Beautiful facility, the reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because the price to get in and the price of alcohol need to be lowered. It was 15 dollars a piece to get in for Country at the boot. The mixes were 7 dollars, and beers were 5 dollars. They had a vip area, which was 25 dollars a piece as well. There was nothing special about that area other than you had table service, and that's it. That area was off the dance floor, and whoever was sitting there couldn't see the band due to all the dancing. The dance floor was small due to the tables lined up on the sides. I had a better view of the band behind the vip area. Definitely need to do some improvements for future bands.“

“I read some of the previous reviews about this place, but frankly our experience was very good. We were at an event here last evening, and everyone at our table enjoyed the food. It was the typical "Youngstown Buffet", consisting of trays of baked chicken, pasta with meatballs, potatoes, green beans, salad, bread with butter, and cake for dessert. The chicken was moist and tender, cooked perfectly. The pasta and meatballs were pretty good, potatoes were great, the green beans were good, the salad had a really good Italian dressing. I had a slice of the chocolate cake for dessert. This was a sheet cake, and was surprisingly good. The butter cream icing was light and tasty. The hall was the perfect size for our group. This was my first time here, but I look forward to coming back again.“
