“My dinner at this Aladdin's was a refreshing experience. These days it is rather difficult to find healthy, fresh tasting food ESPECIALLY at a chain type of restaurant. The falafel here isn't too dry, the garlic sauce delightfully strong, and the coffee freshly brewed. The coffee was so nice in fact that I didn't need sugar. I would like to congratulate this restaurant for keeping the warm toned interior design of years past. No stark whites and blacks, no gray fake wood - simply warm notes of red, green and orange with coordinated soft white light fixtures to top off its cozy charm. The true icing on the cake was my dessert. The carrot cake is moist, not too sweet, and sinfully delicious, with chunks of pureed carrot proudly on display throughout its layers. Service was also wonderful, and despite my awkwardness, the waitress was very friendly and kind. 10/10. Every time I make the 3hr drive up to the area I'll be sure to stop.“

“We were a party of six for dinner on a Saturday evening. From greeting by host to the time we left everything was perfect. It had been raining on and off all day and had just recently stopped and host offered to accommodate our outdoor reservation request by setting up the patio for us. Despite being extremely busy, service was wonderful! Food was delicious…hummus appetizer was so good! We thoroughly enjoyed the surf and turf, burger & fries, chicken shawarma and crispy salad entrees. I would love to see the falafel make a comeback. This was our first visit since the new owners took over. They have made a number of changes and rebranded - all very nicely done. We will certainly be back!!“

“I moved from LA to Akron and this place is better than any middle eastern market in LA even. It's exceptional, from the selection and variety of products to the delicious hot food to the warm welcoming service. The beef shawerma wrap tastes like the ones in Lebanon and is hands down my favorite sandwich out there. What a gem in the area and a treat to have such a wonderful place in the Akron area. “Troy Grille is SO good! Everything is super fresh and made to order and they are generous with toppings. The staff is super welcoming and friendly. Great place to have a delicious Mediterranean feast. We had a steak gyro sub, chicken shawarma wrap, beef shawarma rice bowl and a burger, stuffed grape leaves and tiramisu. All were SO good. If you are getting for lunch and have to go back to work I would recommend ordering ahead because everything is made to order.“

“Tried this place today for the first time (finally!) the gyro I had was amazing! I ordered a small and it’s two meals! My kids had a burger and wings and we all had fries and every one of us loved everything we had! My daughter said her burger was the best burger she’s had in as long as she could remember! “We ordered dinner to go there was a issue with one of our meals and called in spoke with Anthony he ask us to please allow them a chance to fix it we ordered a few weeks ago later he personally took our order and then comped our entire meal that’s Amazing Customer Service definitely appreciate this and recommend anyone to give them a try good food too!“

“Im working on the side walks in front of the Natatorium. I've had the bowls as well as the pita's. Absolutely delicious. I love that i can add the veggies i like best and can switch them so it doesn't get boring. Have not tried the smoothies yet. I will report when I do. The young ladies at the counter as well are awesome. I've eaten here most every day and will continue until my job finishes for breakfast and lunch“

“By far the best tomato soup I have ever had . I will literally be ordering this all the time especially during this cold rainy weather and winter ! I also love the pistachio pancakes so yummy especially with the hint of orange zest so refreshing . Lyla’s is our families go to now, the kids are always asking when are we going again !“
