“I genuinely enjoy Battleground. The pozole is quite good as are their in-house beers (contact brewed at Modern Methods)
The flavors of all their food is always taste well blended. Though, moving here from out West and working in Mexico for years, I wish there was a bit more oomph (and a bit more kick).
My only real negative is their salsa Verde. It's a bit TOO tangy for my tastes and I think it could use a little more tomatillo. But to each their own.
They care about their food and that's obvious I'm every bite.“

“Ordered number 1 lunch with chicken and rice. Chips were hot, and salsa was spicy and flavorful. Queso dip spicy, hot and delicious. The only thing was rice was barely warm, so I didn't eat much of it. They seemed low on staffing but still served in a timely manner. Will definitely be back.“

“We got the California burrito & the Cancun burrito and they were AMAZING. These guys were super nice and they didn't take long at all to make it (which is wild cause it was SO MUCH MORE food than we expected it to be). Def recommend this food truck, they're awesome.

Kid-friendliness: We have a really picky toddler, like REALLY picky, but the kid absolutely devoured the quesadilla we got within minutes. I don't know what kind of magical properties they're putting in this food but our kid actually ate the vast majority of it and asked for more, so these guys are our freaking saviors now 10/10“

“I was trying to find catering for my staff's Christmas dinner. I only have about 15 people. They all agreed they wanted tacos for something different. Every place I looked into wanted 20-25 min persons but wanted an arm and a leg for their prices. My work is in Ravenna so after not coming up with any solution I tried local because I live in Stow. Spicy wanted 25 min but the price was perfect. I ordered the Beef Taco platter and was not disappointed. I had sooo much food for my employees. They all were impressed and had to know where the restaurant was. They felt everything was delicious but the rice and salsa were a hit surprisingly. Thank you Spicy Sombrero for helping make our holiday dinner.“

(I live 35min away) came a little later in the evening (8:15pm) unfortunately I got what was left of the bottom of the barrel and scraps. HOWEVER, friendly service, place was clean, Queso and chips are bomb!! Everything here still has so much more flavor than Chipotle. Not to mention way more options to choose from and no additional charge for guacamole or queso on your entree. I worked at Qdoba in Macedonia as one of my first jobs almost 20 years ago. “Moved my daughter into school this past week and took a walk downtown to look around. Kent has done a great job cleaning up the area. We did stop here to eat lunch. Food was very good, everything seemed to be fresh. It does have a salsa bar where you can try different salsa's. Barbacoa soft tacos were great, lady next to me had fish tacos that smelled and looked delicious. Daughter had a burrito that was huge nd very tasteful. Very affordable and friendly staff. Also has a nice outside seating area. Totally recommend eating here if in town.“

“When i was ordering, the worker putting the toppings in my burrito i think realized that i am vegan, since i didn’t ask for anything animal-based. There was some cheese that had spilled over into the guacamole, and i didn’t realize this until after i had asked for the guacamole. The worker pushed away the top layer where the cheese had fallen and scooped from the bottom where there was no cheese. I was very grateful that he did this, especially since i didn’t even ask for it. Sometimes workers at other places will even get my order wrong, but this specific worker went out of his way to make sure my order was vegan. He is very kind.“
