“The g/f and I stopped in after touring Indian Lake on the way back to Columbus and was greeted by a fabulous staff and owner that answered all of our questions and treated us well ~ We had a very good Italian sub and grilled cheese while listening to a fabulous live band ~ wish we lived closer but we will surely be back.”

“Now overall yes I can see a 4 to a 4.5 but it's a family friendly place with unique design a mix of modern and traditional now the toppings are really good but the crust is ok but the service is really good you are treated really well. Overall so many different things to choose from . Now I was told the pizza sauce was a family recipe so I would say it was really good.”

“On a whim we decided to meet our children and grandchildren half way between us in Columbus and them in Lima. We decided on a pizza place but it was closed when we got there. So I Yelped, of course, to find another restaurant near by. LUCKY for us we found The Syndicate! The restaurant is nice, airy and comfortable and when we said we were a party of 7 the woman seating us didnt bat an eye which was a huge relief as we had 3 small hungry children. They seemed to be a bit understaffed but our server and the young man helping her were so insanely nice and patient we felt well treated. Now it's not an inexpensive place BUT there is a difference between value for money and cheaper. Value for money, to us, is an interesting menu selection that delivers and delivers with taste and freshness. We plan on going back just to work our way through the menu. I had gnocchi that was pillowy and sublime. My husband and SiL had the pork schnitzel that they raved about and my daughter had the salmon with shrimp which was so generous she took half of it home. Now two things that are super pluses THE BEST CARROT CAKE any of us have ever had including the one I make and the chocolate cake was actually my fave because it was not overly sweet and you taste the cocoa. They have a full bar with a nice wine selection. Thank you The Syndicate for dinner last night you made 7 people very, very happy.”

“I stopped here after a long morning without any expectations or knowledge of this place. So I was not prepared to be completely blown away by how amazing my vegetarian sub was! It's a warm sub with big, awesome vegetables, gooey cheese, and fantastic bread that is heated to where the cheese spills out and there's a little toasted cheese on the outside. But the best part was the sauces. I don't want to give away their sauce secret here, but I'll just say it is a winning combination and absolutely genius. “Such a great small town coffee shop! They have tons of alternatives for people like myself who have dietary preferences or restrictions, and the people who work there are so genuinely kind. It's also a perfect atmosphere for small groups, such as bible studies.Dietary restrictions: Some keto, GF, dairy free, etc. Also have Chaga, which I never expected to see in a small town coffee shop. The Chaga matcha and Chagaccino are phenomenal!”

“I really enjoyed my meal. We got the salsa, guac and queso appetizer with tortilla chips. Guac and queso were AMAZING but the salsa tasted like VERY heaving tomato paste, like tomato sauce. I ordered a few tacos. Shrimp was one and delicious. Al pastor was the other, it was good but not the best so next time I'll get both shrimp. My husband said his wasn't that good. I think he may have gotten the pork or chorizo one.”

I’ve drank countless coffees (roasters and styles) from the world over, and I’ve never had a better latte than I’ve had at Native. I can’t recommend their latte with an extra shot of espresso made with oat milk even close to enough (even if you’re a dairy drinker; just try it!). The roaster that Native sources their beans from (One Line in Columbus, OH) is top-notch and the technique way they prepare their drinks is proper. I also appreciate their advocacy for kindness and diversity, as evidenced in their signage and decor. Plus, Braydon is always kind and super knowledgeable to boot.”
