“We went for the first time after driving past it many times saying we should try this place… and let me just say it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely amazing!! Raising beef cows ourselves it’s always hit or miss with good steaks and this place definitely surpassed our expectations! The seafood was good also. Our waitress (I can’t remember her name) was amazing she was so kind and attentive. 10/10 highly recommend for a date night.“

“After a long, sandy, sunburned day at the beach, we were way too tired to clean up and go anywhere fancy. Luckily, this place was right next to our hotel, so we called in our order while still shaking sand out of our shoes. By the time we got there—about 15 minutes later—it was ready to go.

Now, before I start talking about the food, let me just say: we ate all of it. Every last bite. That’s why they get 5 stars. Was it worth the $80? Ehh… not really. But it filled us up, and nobody got food poisoning, so we’ll call that a win.

The cheese curds and fried pickles? Totally average. Needed more crunch and less “freezer section vibes.” The perch was actually really good though—definitely the highlight. My daughter’s bang bang shrimp was so-so (she’s made better herself), and the grandbaby was happy with her chicken bites, so that’s what matters. The swirl fries looked amazing on the menu but were kind of a letdown—cool in theory, floppy in reality.

All in all, the food was fine, the service was fine, but for eighty bucks, I was expecting a little more “wow” and a little less “meh.” Still, after a long day in the sun, it did the job!“

“Love enjoying a cocktail with a burger and fries while seating on a pier! Once your order is in, it’s usually quick service. Beautiful fun spot to enjoy lunch. Everything I’ve had on the menu has been delicious. Definitely recommend if you enjoy outdoor seating and don’t mind a little occasional wind. This is also my GF’s favorite spot in town.“

“The place itself looks nice but it's chinsy. The food is basic there's nothing special about it. Minimal portions unless you spend good money you'll leave hungry. They charge you a 3% sur charge when you use a Credit card I didn't see that posted anywhere. The Menu is all over the place meh. $4 soft drink and don't get ask if you want a Refill. NOT worth the HYPE“

“Drove an hour away from home to look at a truck that unfortunately I ended up not getting. As we were headed back we saw Gilhuly's and stopped in at a whim. I sure am glad we did. Its a great bar with good food and a nice staff. I left with no truck but at least I'm going home with a good experience and full stomach. Thank you!“

“My family and I dined at Casa Real in Sandusky, OH. yesterday July 12, 2025. Overall it was a great experience. I only took one star on the overall rating because seating was cramped, but then again I am 6'5" so I guess that makes a difference. However what make my experience exceptional was the service. Our waitress name was Dianna. Wow, she is awesome. She took care of us better than any waitress that I have had probably ever, and that is saying something because I've been around for a wh ile and love to eat out. She kept our drinks full and everytime we needed something she was there and got it for us quickly and didn't forget anything. And believe me, they were super busy, but our family needs were met very very quickly and always with a smile. Dianna, I hope you and your boss can read this, I want to thank you for such a great experience. You have a new customer at least as long as you work there.“

“Our family went here after our day to Cedar Point - it’s only 11 miles from the park. (we live almost 2hrs south) The hamburgers, Mac & cheese bites, etc hit the spot! Turns out this place also delivers! We will keep that in mind when stay for an extended weekend. My husband and son love burgers and they were very happy with the food. Homemade onion rings were noted too. Next time we will try the shakes!“

“Stopped in for lunch chicken was nice and fries were cooked good. I just wish canes had more than two sauces. So much potential for cool sauce but they only offer honey mustard and canes sauce, nothing spicy or fun! Other than that it's good.“
