“Best local pizza. Never gotten my order wrong. Salads are huge and topped perfectly.Parking: New building has a decent sized lot, front and side parking available.”
“Only thing missing from Pizza Nerds is dine in. The atmosphere, people and PIZZA are out of this world amazing! If you think Pizza Nerds isn’t the pizza spot, you’re “killing me Smalls!” And if you don’t get the reference, you don’t deserve Pizza Nerds pizza. We get the same pizza every time, and sometimes add cookies to our order, because those are also INCREDIBLE, too!!Wheelchair accessibility: The space is wheelchair accessible for pickup. The entrance is zero threshold, but the counter is a little high. There is no space for someone in a wheelchair to sit and wait, as it’s a small pizza spot without a dine in option….as of yet! But you could definitely, without much issue or frustration roll in and pickup your pizza. Honestly, they’re so nice if you let them know you needed accommodations, they’d probably bring it out to your vehicle.”
“Tried this coffee shop out while out doing a jeep convention and so glad I did. The coffee was perfect! I got the white chocolate cinnamon ice coffee, beautiful carmel color. I hate coffee shops that put more milk than coffee, coffee should blhav3 a carmel color not a white color. They serve food here, which did look good from spying on others food orders. The place was clean and pretty cool looking. The girls working this Saturday were very friendly. Will definitely come back!”
“Went at 4-4:30 to beat the crowd. Hubby and I have tried 3 times to go, but it's been next to impossible to park or they were closed. They now have a stop light on the top of the building to show if there are open table (green) or no seats (red); pretty cool! We had the reuben and the hawaiian swine (shaved ham, Swiss and pineapple). The reuben was average. The ham sandwich was really good, but could have used a condiment/sauce. It wasnt dry or anything, just a thought. I like it though. There are 2 sandwiches on the plate. And they arent slider size, so I had a spare for the next day. Portion sizes are good. Onion rings were good, but mine seemed a big greasy, which is contrary to what I've heard about them, so maybe a flukeParking: It's a strange layout and the entrance is close to the corner, look ahead before turning in and check the Stop light to make sure there are tables or expect to wait”
“Drove an hour to go and try the cinnamon rolls and decided to try the long johns too. Both were so amazing and worth the drive! The long John had light fluffy cream throughout the whole donut and a sweet layer of icing on top. The cinnamon roll had plenty of cinnamon and sugar throughout the soft roll and topped with a thick layer of cream cheese icing. Only downfall was they had sold out of glazed donuts. Just means we have to make another trip to try them. Owner as working the window. He was so kind and friendly. I highly recommend!!”
“I always go here with my fiancé before we go hiking at blackhand. It’s cheaper and tastier than anywhere else around. The people who work there are always so sweet and kind and let me wear my mushroom hat inside. ? If I could give it more stars, I would.♥️”
“This place knocked it out of the park again! So good! The street corn is phenomenal and the service is prompt and friendly! You need to try the smash burger! I had two on this visit!”
“This was my first time at Big Apple Cafe, and everything was absolutely amazing! I ordered the Crabcake Eggs Benedict, and it was BY FAR the best crabcakes I have ever had! The sweet tea isn't too sweet, and was quite enjoyable! I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting great food at a really good price!Parking: Ample free parking directly in front of the restaurantWheelchair accessibility: There is a convenient wheelchair ramp close to the entrance, and the hostess made room for an electric wheelchair that my dining partner was riding.”
“Crumble cookies have generated an excitement for a great cookie. Every Monday the first thing I do is check the new flavors coming out for the week. The cookies are soft and chewy with a crunchy exterior. Chocolate base flavors are my favorite. Also anything unique, I have to try.”
“I used to go here in my childhood, and I stopped by as an adult to check it out and see if it was like I remembered. I ordered a coney and broccoli cheese bites, and they were delicious. The prices are extremely fair, and the selection is great. The girls working there were very friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a small town dairy place, stop here!”
“Absolutely incredible food and friendly service! This was our first time at Hey Babes and we will be back! The hand pie was one of the best I’ve ever had and the brown butter chocolate chip cookie was out of this world!”
“Hot fresh and delicious. Always a great experience start to finish. From the ordering (always polite and efficient on the phone and online ordering super easy and convenient) to the pick-up (hot and ready when I'm told it will be and always greeted with smile) to the finished product being totally satisfying. If you want a tasty pizza, a good sub or a fresh salad, Plaza is def one I'd recommend. 100%”
“Food is on point here the humpty is really good lol cought the Bottom of the keg on my shandy but still worth itParking: Parking along the building some across the street to the eastWheelchair accessibility: Gravel lot looks accessible”
“Went there with a friend this morning, Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 8:30 to 10:15am. I ordered the Ultimate Omelet with a side of bacon (4 pieces!) and coffee (hot and delicious ?). My omelet was HUGE and well-filled with "goodies" and my bacon was cooked-to-order. Only ate half. Leftovers for another meal. $10+ total. I'll be returning again! Only negative was that the industrial carpet was a bit of a mess crumbs wise! Needed vacuumed!Parking: Park in front and side.Kid-friendliness: 7 large tables that would seat 4-10+ people”
“Great experience at this cute, quirky little cidery spot. Easy to walk to from the downtown Granville hotels and a very chill, laidback atmosphere to sample some of their wares. We enjoyed the cozy fireplace upstairs as well.”
“Excellent food!!! I have gluten intolerance and I finally found a place that is beyond scrumptious catering to all dietary restrictions!!!! Service very hospitable, and nice seating area outside.???”
“This is a very nice coffee shop. Their products are delicious and the people they have working are usually quite friendly. The only reason for a four star is it often feels like they could use an extra person or to working. If there are lots of sandwiches being ordered the coffee drinks can sometimes take a fair amount of time. Otherwise, a great place”
“Meatloaf is super yummy! Highly recommend!Their Buffalo Chicken dip is not my favorite unfortunately. Tons of chicken which I appreciate and a very generous portion. However it’s dry. Usually buffalo dips have a creamy base(cream cheese) and either blue cheese or ranch added in for flavor along with hot sauce. This tasted like chicken only mixed with hot sauce. I guess I prefer other recipes. That being said I did really enjoy the restaurant. Looking forward to trying other appetizers or soups.Server was really nice as well and did a great job.”
“Everything from the absolutely adorable shop to the amazing crew that works there… to the absolutely PHENOMENAL coffee. The teddy graham latte’ did me in!!! I have to have one every morning or else my day is not complete.”
“The food is amazing. The front counter woman was amazing. The food was fresh and homemade. The kitchen operated at the pace of a snail so if you are in a hurry, not the place to go. Additionally, carry out might be better as it’s all high tops. Finally, the cost is pretty high. I had a smash burger, fries and fountain drink and it was $20.30 before a tip. It’s a shame the there are issues and it’s way too expensive because the quality is high. I understand the rising costs of food, but over $20 for counter service is truly outrageous.”
“I’ve only had great experiences at this brewery. It’s not just a place to get a drink, though their drinks are unique and selection is big (their hazy and milkshake IPAS are awesome), but it’s also a place to spend time with friends and family. There are various food trucks that come here, there’s lots of live music and plenty of outdoor seating when the weather’s nice. On top of this, there’s a fun 9-hole disc golf course on the property! An amazing place to foster community.”
“The blueberry biscuit is to die for. I also got a vanilla iced macchiato and it was so delicious, picture perfect but I couldn’t wait to take a sip to snap one. The service is always amazing as well. Super kind workers.”
“This family run restaurant is exactly what you would hope for! Family ran, friendly people, great food and adorable little girl bussing tables! My dad and I love it!”
“Chef Shack: Where Burgers Ascend to Culinary NirvanaForget everything you thought you knew about hamburgers. Chef Shack isn't here to play patty-cake with mediocrity. They're here to rewrite the burger rulebook, and let me tell you, they've penned a masterpiece. My recent visit was a revelation, a symphony of flavor that left me wanting more (and maybe a nap – these burgers are that good).First, the star of the show: the patty. Crafted with a blend of premium cuts, it's juicy without being greasy, cooked to a perfect medium-rare that showcases the inherent deliciousness of the meat. Each bite bursts with rich, savory satisfaction. No dry, flavorless hockey pucks here – Chef Shack understands the importance of a well-executed patty. But the patty is just the foundation. The toppings? A chorus of culinary brilliance. From the tangy bite of house-pickled red onions to the creamy indulgence of their signature Shack Sauce, each element elevates the burger to new heights. They offer creative and classic options, ensuring there's a perfect flavor combination for every palate. My personal favorite? The "Truffle Shuffle," a decadent masterpiece featuring truffle aioli, melted Gruyère cheese, and sautéed wild mushrooms. It's a luxurious explosion of savory and earthy notes that had me rethinking everything I thought I knew about burgers. The buns deserve a special mention. Soft yet sturdy, they cradle the burger without collapsing under the weight of deliciousness. They're toasted to a perfect golden brown, adding a hint of buttery warmth to every mouthful. It's the little details that truly elevate Chef Shack's offering; they haven't overlooked a single element. And let's not forget the sides. Crispy, golden French fries, hand-cut and cooked to perfection, are the ideal accompaniment. They're the perfect balance of salty and satisfying, a delightful counterpoint to the richness of the burger.Chef Shack isn't just about the food, though. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a touch of industrial chic. The service is friendly and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience. It's the kind of place where you feel comfortable lingering, savoring the aftertaste of a truly exceptional burger. In conclusion, Chef Shack isn't just another burger joint. It's a destination for those who appreciate the art of the burger, where every element is meticulously crafted to create an unforgettable culinary experience. It's a symphony of flavor, a testament to what a well-made burger can truly be. So, do yourself a favor and head to Chef Shack. Your taste buds will thank you.”
“you and Debbie do such wonderful decorating on the cakes and cookies.... as well as being delicious! I hope to get back to your bakery soon for some frosted sugar cookies!”
“I could give this place 7 stars if I could.Everything was good. The Salsa was fresh, Guacamole was tad spicy but was complex and satisfying, the entrees were fresh and somehow came out perfect. Decoration was cultural but not over the top. The service was very warm and homely. Everyone knows how to smile. We certainly left happy and smiling that we discovered this place.”
“Very good place for brunch, lunch or dinner. Great pastries and coffee as well.Orders take a while so it’s not fast but it’s good- have been many times since they opened. Staff is very friendly and service is good. I especially like stopping there while biking on the bike trail and sitting outside in good weather!Definitely one of the best restaurants in Granville.”
“First time visiting and we came for Tiki Thurs. The drinks were great and made authentically with fresh local ingredients (they make their own syrups). The ice is clear, filtered, and elevates the drinks. You can tell they take care to show their craft. Food was great and it was a fun time sitting at the bar chatting up the bartender. We will be back! We recommend it to anyone who is looking for tiki drinks or other craft cocktails.”
“Food and service was great. Seating is limited. We were in town for a funeral and had a party of 7. Staff was great in accommodating us. Will definitely visit again when we are in town.”
“I walked in and noticed the full bar. So, I decided to settle down and take a seat at a four-top. I was acknowledged by a server who asked if what I would like to drink. After giving he a beer order, she came back a few minutes later with a draft beer on a 24oz glass. The place was busy, so I distracted myself with other things while waiting for the server. About five minutes after, she came up and asked for my order (Crossroads Burger, single, with fresh cut fries). While waiting for my burger she checked for a refill. It was evident there is a strong local atmosphere here, with people greeting each other with hugs. There are a decent number of groups here with families and kids, so that gives me the impression this is a friendly place. I was brought my second beer about eight minutes after placing my order, and also not either the owner or a manager walking around picking up some stray napkins on the floor. After about 20 minutes my order came to the table. I figured if they were going to put their name on a burger, it should be good. It did not disappoint: the burger was smashed, well-reasoned, and juicy (medium), the jalapenos and pepper jack brought the right amount of heat, and the brioche bun was a good base to build on. I had pretty much finished my burger before the server checked in with me about ten minutes later. She was busy and I no complaints, so it's all good. The bar had completely cleared out about thirty minutes from my arrival, but my server asked if I'd like another beer, which I sure did, and I'm going to leave my review at that. Crossroads seems to be a good local place to grab a burger and a beer, and is community-based enough to make it family friendly.I'm going to relax with another beer and suggest you come here to do the same.Parking: Parking was available at the establishment and at tht gravel lot across the street.Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available for the little kids, and there seems to be quite a number of families here with their little ones.”
