I love specialty coffee and we were told about the shop from friends. We stopped and were overjoyed. Very kind barista (and a Bills fan). Pour over and espresso were wonderful. Subtle sweetness with wonderful berry flavor. I bought the Columbia Finca las Brisas Natural Gesha. Beautiful floral aroma and the fragrance continued throughout brewing and drinking. Flavor reminded me of when familybwas making the fruit filling for berry pies. I hope to visit again on our next Ohio visit. Thank you for the experiences.

Have been here several times in the past and coffee has been average, on my most recent visit I waited over half an hour for one coffee, went around the block to give it some time and by the time they got back they had just forgotten my order. Kent has so many better local small coffee shops to support that deserve your attention, just skip this one over.

My mom came into to town while she was working near here in her office as she had some downtime. I hadn't seen her in weeks and thought it would be great to grab some coffee and catch up with our lives.
Pulled up the nearest coffee shop and this was at the top, so we went. The atmosphere and the service was absolutely amazing. Smelled decent, look clean and organized, everyone was in a good mood. Ordered our drinks and we went outside to enjoy them and have a yap session. Yea no, the first sip of coffee immediately dragged me out of the great mood and I was actually extremely disappointed. I ordered hazelnut cold brew and it tasted way too sweet with this weird fruity base to it. Felt like I was drinking an expired fruit drink not a hazelnut coffee. My mom ordered just a basic Americano and hers tasted bitter to the core with a way too sweet base. We just threw it in the trash and went to Starbucks because it seriously ruined our whole morning 😭 I hate to sound dramatic, but I take my coffee seriously and I really just wanted to have a nice time with my mom and was instead met with disappointment. I didn't even have any expectations going in either.

All of the drinks are delicious and I appreciate the selection of high-quality baked goods. The store is very small but charming, and the staff are knowledgeable and kind. Bagged coffee from smaller shops usually isn't my wife's thing, but she'll always pick one up from here due to the exceptional taste when brewed. We come here every time we're in the area.

Bent Tree is the best coffee spot in the town. Kevin is the man. He was a huge help, brews great drinks and makes killer latte art. They're supportive of the local creative scene which is awesome as well.

Stopped in on a local place in OH, Bent Tree Coffee Roasters. The smell in this place was magical. The atmosphere really chill. The coffee... delicious. I usually don't order flavored lattes but tried their lavender latte and...wow, this drink really embodied this roaster. Staff were super friendly. Grabbed these beans and I can't wait to grind em' up for a brew. If you're in the area, these guys are a must try.
