The Ruben was decent, but the fries were ok. The drinks were kind of bad they apple mule was a special cocktail on the menu, but it was not thought out well. The ginger and apple did not blend well. The boneless wings were very standard. they're the same as you can get at a Pizza Hut.Parking here is all street parking, and depending on the time of day, that can be difficult.“

“We are from out of state visiting kids/grandkids. Stopped in for lunch and were getting out of the car to go inside, when one of the staff came out and explained that it was a full car service place. He gave us a couple of menus and explained that we just turn on our lights when we were ready to order. Food came out quick and they hung the tray on the window like I remember as a kid.
We ordered the Galley burger, a cheeseburger, fries, a root beer shake and a strawberry banana shake.
Loved the food. Everything was delicious. The manager came out to thank us for giving great compliments to our server. Will definitely go be the next time we fly out here.“

“Have been here twice, and thoroughly enjoyed the food & atmosphere of this restaurant. The pretzel with vegan cheese sauce is a must have. Today I got the veggie quesadilla - huge portion, AND they had vegan sour cream! They also have a full bar, and a cute patio that will be great in warm weather. Service was also fantastic both times - we will be back!“

“Went there tonight for dinner. I’m in town visiting a friend but found myself on my own this evening, saw this place on my map, and decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint! The friendly staff, the ambiance, the food, and the general vibe were great. They’re clearly well liked in the area because a lot of people were there and seemed to know the staff well! I had a simple dinner of wings and fries and they were delicious. The waitress/bartender (I forgot to catch her name) made sure I was doing okay every chance she got, no matter how much other stuff was going on. If I’m in the area again, I’d definitely come back!“

“The only word I have for this place is, “Genius.” They smoked their tofu, created a spicy stout that stays with you in a pleasant way to continue that classic stout after taste and this place has a full vegan menu for those watching their cholesterol. What a killer place. Well there’s word numero dos… “Killer.” 10/10 would poop here again.

Edit: Adding a more serious opinion. This place is specific to their beer menu. Review it before coming in. As a brewer and past wine/brew supplies salesman I would say these beers are artisan and if that’s not for you, consider understanding that before you enter. Mostly stouts and darks, Christmas styles and the like. Unique beyond all means. I had a winter beer that felt like a warm blanket by the fire as I drank it. So if this IS for you, then I’d highly recommend getting in and exploring these beers. I believe the world beer cup has listed several of their beers as “best in the world” and I would agree.“

“We stopped here after a full day at the Oktoberfest and I am so glad we did. This is like the modern day Cheers! We instantly felt at home at the bar while enjoying all of the great beers on tap. Will definitely stop again if we ever make our way back to the falls.“

“We just live down the street and have been going here for years. Had a bad experiance with over cooked burgers earlier in the summer and quit going. Today we decided to give it another try and we are glad we did. Our burgers were cooked to perfection and huge, very juicy and tasty. The value is the best I've seen anywhere we've been lately. “On Thursday night there is a trio of fun bartenders , Allie , Micaela, and Monica. Always in a great mood and very attentive to your needs. The food is top notch sports bar type and well prepared. The selections are across the board and have never had a bad meal.“

“Finally made our first trip to Oak and Ember on a Friday evening. We made reservations, so we were promptly seated; oddly, the restaurant was only about half full. We had the burnt ends and cheese curds to start. Cheese curds were pretty standard, but the ends were fantastic - some crispy, some a little fatty, all covered in BBQ sauce.

Main courses were brisket and pull pork; again, both cooked perfectly. Prices were a little high, but portions were very large. Drink prices were also on the high side (4 cocktails came to $64). They have a HUGE bourbon list with different flight options if that is your thing. Wait staff was not very attentive, but not rude as some other reviews have stated. Plenty of menu options (looking forward to trying the meatloaf!), so we will be back.“
