Food was served refrigerator cold!
Went there today with my family for my birthday. All I ordered was a club sandwich with no mayonnaise. When it came out it had Mayo - so I sent it back. Sorry I hate mayonnaise. When it came back it was obvious they just changed the bread because there was still Mayo all over everything. I sent it back again. When I got the third one my family was pretty much done eating so we just got boxes to go. When I went back to eat it later guess what I found. That’s right! Mayonnaise!...read full review

Ray's Place is a hometown favorite known for its always-good hamburgers and generous portions of hand-cut fries. This classic college bar offers a fantastic selection of local beers, craft and import beers, and old standards, alongside soups and daily specials. The food is delicious, featuring great burgers, including the MoFo Burger and hot pastrami, as well as a large menu with lots of variety and customizations. Many guests love the burgers, often ordering them as a tribute to a loved one. With quick and friendly service provided by attentive staff, it serves as a wonderful meeting spot that is hard to beat. Many find the warm pub-like atmosphere inviting, making it a great place to grab drinks with friends or meet new people. The bar includes a shot wheel that offers free shots on birthdays, adding to the fun vibe. However, the place can get crowded and noisy on weekends, especially when students are in town, making it difficult to converse. For a quieter experience, guests can ask to sit in the back room or enjoy the second floor, which has another bar and pool tables. Be prepared for a challenge parking during the summer months, but it's worth the visit, as it has been impressing locals and visitors alike since the 1980s.
